Thank You Gajendra Ji for coming out with the truth.

I have been following the SAREGAMA challenge 2005 from the beginning and hardly missed any show. It was really sad what these three contestants did to Debojit just because he got maximum number of public votes which they can not accept. Where were all these emotions and protests when the un arguably best contestant of all of them Nihira were voted out?
After the final five were chosen it is anybody's game as all of them are singing well. Why it was so difficult to accept Debu's getting maximum number of votes for his entry in to final three? The Show is still on and there will only two winners. Is it because somebody already decided who should be the winners and making sure to eliminate and lower moral of an honest and hard working competitor by any means??

Boss .. I am not saying this for or against anyone. Just an observation and analysis. It was sad that Nihira was out. All unaninously agreed. But why the participants didn't stage a walkout and why they tried to do it now? there is a reason a more humane one. People may not feel as bad when a talented girl goes out as when a guy who (is a good singer no doubt but surely not a class apart ok?) is clearly of lesser talent and consistently in 2 shows shoots to top slot. And in my guess the dubious ID who showed (a kind of) stepmotherly attitude towards Debo when Nihira was still in walked out coz he anyways doesnt have much hopes or liking on Debo and so he took this opportunity to atleast gain a political mileage. Things are not as simple as they look buddy. You gotta have a critical eye 😉

Just a mere show off that's all. Just like contestants, these musicians are also competing against whose the best.

I saw SRGMP Qawali episode on Tuesday and I was really upset to see AS(S) give Debu such low votes. Debo is not my personal fav. but I still don't think he deserved a 6. It seems like the musicinas are competing against each other more than these contestants.

Himani's vote out (coming up) kinda' makes sense. Since she was the only female left and already got one spot of the winners position, I guess people didn't think it made sense to vote for her anymore. Although it would have been nice to have people stop voting for her since she became a winner after Nihira was eliminated. This is where I personally feel that the SRGMP format was not thought of very well. Some of the things I noticed were:

1. The mento-meter concept does not make sense first of all (and also the fact that they have changed the format of mento-meter so many times - from bars to numbers etc. Please keep it consistant). Why would you have an opponent mentor judge you? Why don't they call neutral judges - the same ones who were first responsible for their elimination, now they should just be scoring to help audience vote better.

2. Why are the gharana's chosing songs for their contestants. Obviously the musician like HR will chose simple songs that suit Vinit, and a musician like ID will chose tough songs for their contestants so he can show their power. In the end it is not fair for the public to judge based on songs of completely different levels.

3. Why don't they give out a deadline date and time for voting like II and FG does. How is the public supposed to know when to stop voting for their fav contestant. On INTERNet, voting for Himani is still open (today is Thursday). Apparently the shooting for the episode completed on Monday where she got eliminated. Granted, INTERNEt is free (in a way) so it may not matter. But what about the people who are still spending their money on SMS for Himani? Where are those votes going?

I am sure there are a lot more things that do not make sense in this format. It would've been nice if Gaj Singh had sit down and thought of the format well enough in advance so favoritism could not play a role on his show.
