Its still a sad point that Hema got yellow for the same song. Its not he got the yellow but its the soul of singing got Yellow.

As far as hema's singing a new song, newly composed and with new lyrics is concerned, he is the best of the lot. But, if given a already perfect song, he is lured into (or skips into) creating a separate genre of his own. Though, his fans may call it improvisation or thinking beyond the original composition. When, he chose 'tere mere beech mein' from 'ek duje ke liye', he brought shock, if not shame to SP Bala. Many would agree, that the sathiya song was also moving exactly in the opposite direction from the original. As original is the only standard against which we can evaluate, he failed in at least this arena. Don't agree? Ok, if you remember the episode, even Kunal had to resort to saying that: even though you didn't sing the way original composition was, you still made me like it. I, in Kunal's place too would have taken refuge in the only way remained to commend him. Don't worry my comment came too late to affect the outcome of the voting. But, this is the way things are turning out.😎

Orthodox. Do you have 2 faces and 2 minds? :) I liked your analysis and thoughts in your reply to me. But you never sounded any reasonable and intelligent or logical in your first message that said " we are relatives of Bhimsen etc.". Anyways to make the long story short .. we all agree we are made with some short comings. But that is not the issue. Issue is if we are doing anything (in our capacity) to undo it. "Chill out" is a cool phrase but hmm if we all just chill out ALWAYS whats gonna happen buddy? Thats all I was talking about. I wasn't trying to present an abstract intellectual theory. And as regards to Debo's or anyone's crokked tooth, that comment didn't come from me as any personal bias. It was an outcome of a few of the comments I read on Debo that " he has got a crooked tooth and how chweeet he is ..he should win". I felt jealous. I have more crooked teeth and why I am in not there :-((.

We should try to learn to encourage talent and impartiality to the extent possible and the situation permits. Hema is not my brother or am in no way related to him. Infact beleive me I had no interest in me untill I accidentally heard his 'lekar hum diwaana dil ..' song and I was amazed by his control and balance of tune and voice. All I am asking is to give him due share to perform and not victory.

What is this drama about Vinit loving a girl and etc? Shame! They spent about 10 minutes on him as if his is the baseline taste and appraisal of love. Even Diya pretended that way. The Indian public will easily believe into thinking that they 'should' vote for Vinit coz he appears so much on the show. So let us atleast (at best) ventilate our disapproval of such a mehanism if not alter the course of teh program towards neutrality.

Freinds. Look at the comments of the mentors and guests guys. Hema keeps the talent to even impress his haters. Saathiya song was amazing. I have never seen any one so Dumbstruck by anyone's singing as Hema's Saathiya. The comments for Hema (when and if they come) come from hearts and for all others they are like 'achcha ladka hai ..Zee-TV ka close aur pyaara hai ..so let us give a few good words'. And also none wants to buy dushmani from HR looks like so they dont go against Vinitt :). He seems to be openly threatening. Where did all these mentors have their education. They don't look like celebrities to me with all their behaviour and discipline. As aptly presented Hema is gold. Ghee ka laddu. Look guys time and again am saying I don't ask Victory for Hema. I ask equal opportunity to perform or the TV time etc. What is this crap of Vinit's marriage depends on his victory etc? Huh! Let us ask to put an end to this family drama and none cares much (especially when there is a partiality is going on) what Vinit is going to buy to his Bride and where they go for honeymoon etc. I am also so impressed by Hema's smile despite the open insult and neglect to him. I am not one of those who could do that :)

And what is this Hema's singing is suitable for South? Who are these folks coming to south and singing with their terrible telugu and yet people appreaciting it for MUSIC. Mohammed Rafi, Udit Narayan etc. Comeon guy let us talk truth and data and stop this he is fit for south etc. I never found any single item that brands him only capable of singing for south. Yes, there maybe one. North Indians (who have such feelings) do not deserve such good singing like that of Hema. Useless conclusions. Do all of you know that North Indian singers (who sing with telugu song written in hindi scirpt) sing in telugu? You should hear the broken pronunciation. Yet they are accepted.

Oh what a same feeling. I too exactly felt the same to record his songs. But I couldn't. I hope these SGRMP songs are available somewhere. Friends ..appreciate it if someone has recorded them please share it with whoever wants it. Thanks in advance.

Well, I am sure that Gajji will try to make a buck of these singers and put
out a compilation album of their work.

As for Hema being good for South movies, I don't understand the
reasoning behind this. As most of you know, many songs in these
movies are sung by North singers and separtely, when South Indians
(ARR, Shankar Mahadevan, Harris jayraj) compose for hindi movies, I
don't hear any complaints about their music not being ok for Hindi
movies.

This whole Hema would be good in the South is ridiculous. Sure unlike
many singers in today's Tamil and Telegu movies, he would be good at
pronouncing the words but in India today where most kids speak Hindi
and English no matter what region they hail from, I don't see Hema as
having a problem.

I would also like to note that both Asha and Lata sang lots of Bengali
songs where I noticed an accent but believe me no one cared. These
ladies were great singers and the songs were huge hits!

Critically appreciative at times and often critically imposing -- this time it is Hema.

It is not the case of having two faces or two minds. Hope, you too are able to see one face in your dressing mirror. Agree, that one mind can think in one direction. In your case it is hema. Now, onwards I would agree with all your discourse if I ever see a real reasonable, intelligent (and of course intelligible) and logical appraisal of hema. I mean, you tried all your dutiful audience-like reasoning to prove he is the best. It becomes authoratative when it goes beyond duty of commenting and comes to a decision making position (voting). With authority one thing comes inseparably and that is responsibility (read accountability). We vote and hold others (say, our netas) accountable -- though the culprit is the voter himself. Now, again I reason that I know nothing about music and, allow me, I found in you an expert on the subject. Today, you vote for hema and I vote for anybody -- let's take the person discarded by your full length white-paper, Vinit. Now, in this type of system, dolled out to the mobile driven generation, there is an equal number of orthodox's for the number of cryticaleye's. And in the absence of two party (contestant) system, hema is not going to get the absolute majority -- the true test of who is liked by more people. Then comes into play the role of lobbying. You spoke vociferously in support of hema -- of course not your brother or relative. But, he is still capable of making a critical eye a blindfolded eye.

You haven't heard much still you rally for him. I have heard all of him, with special attention the sathiyaa song, and say he turned the song inside out -- as I turn some of my special garments on the cloth line so that colour may not fade. He though turned the song same way but couldn't save the colours anyways. Kunal is on record when he said: You didn't sing the way the song used to be, but, yes BUT, I liked it'. For liking a song there is no need for any saaz, music composition, stage, microphones, platform et al. A song is best when written (it is a different matter although). The best environ to like a song is bathroom. See everone is fit for this recording room. The way it is going on, everyone will keep on singing as he/she is capable of and get stamped from the 'liking people' as 'well improvisation'. The thing that the improvisation is an imitation (call it remake if you please) of some poor folks' original just takes the back seat; I think it goes further back and departs via boot. The question is creating an equal opportunity for all the contestants. They too are as much sons/daughters of their parents as hema is. Anyone's just 'liking' could tilt the scale towards injustice. I too am inclined to vote for the south sensation, hemu, but please not for the 'saathiya'. NOT.
