Award them a lifetime supply of Kleenex boxes and tell them to suck it up. The earlier they learn that, the better it is for them.

Okay, just kidding. 😆 I don't think that Zee can really do anything about that. Its a competition just like any other competition. I think it is the parents' responsibility to tell their kids that win or lose, its all part of the game. We can't expect these kids to not cry, even the adults in SRGMP cry upon elimination. Its natural. But the kids must understand that they have a whole lifetime ahead of them and that their families are still very proud of them.

Another thing Zee can do is: Vaccum their bodies of liquids before announcing the result 😆, or decide the winner instead of a loser...so 11 of the orig. 12 won't feel as bad cuz they're not the only one's eliminated

Why are you sending her to Asha Bhosle? 😕 Send her to Monali. 😆

Don't broadcast elimination. Handle it like you lay off an employee. Take them one by one into a room. Offer some candy and soda, and then gently slip - your services are no longer needed. Offer a Wii with Songstar or something as severance. Next week when there is one child less, let the co-stars and audiences guess what happened.

Whats going on, why so many alien abductions. It's bizarre.

Well if it is just one or few people getting laid off/fired - it is done quietly. Others will be told "X is no longer with the company" and no details are spilled. Lay offs are more civilized. You always get a severance. Depending on the position you were in, the lay off maybe discussed/explained over a meal or coffee and some additional perks maybe offered.

But despite the food and perks, its not as peachy as it seems. It always comes as a real hard sucker punch.

I don't think you can do anything more or less for the tears. Remember last year, Vasundhara would SOB, not cry, but sob over any moderately bad comment. Smita would cry in anticipation for a bad comment. It's nothing you can control, they just cry. Even Swarit cried the first episode because he wasn't champ of the day.

If anything, it's the pressure from probably their parents telling them that they HAVE to be the best. Oh, one more example, the whole bringing eight people all the way? Raja and Vinit both cried in the finale after getting second place. They weren't being eliminated. So if you bring eight, you'll just have seven people that are crying when the winner is announced. That, and they probably will rank the kid week after week. Do you really think the same probably three kids want to hear that they are in the bottom week after week. That's why elimination is there.

I would say that they could give mroe words of encouragement, but then remmeber when Janice was eliminated. She cried so much, Himesh was more or less suckered into giving her a song in his album or something.

Even if they eliminated a couple together...again, remember last year back in the first few episodes. They had a few contestants and then they took all of them but 5, and every single kid cried. It's just that, if a kid makes it far, they are probably serious about it, and don't want to hear that they aren't good enough. Not only that, but they have to be the best. Elimination is a sad moment, but there's nothing we can do about that. And you can't just "hide" the elimination. Elimination has to be public. I also love that they have a little montage of the eliminated contestant as well. It makes it more sad, but it also makes you remember them, and it makes the contestant remember what they will be taking with them when they leave.
