I think it is not proper for Zee to go around making little kids cry year after year. Even poor Shalini had to cry so much. I am sure I can think of a far better system to reduce the tear drops. Some suggested solutions:
Keep them on the show as long as possible. top 6 or top 8 till the end.
Reward them richly when eliminated to put a smile back

reward richly??

"Sorry Shalini for your elimination..here's a BMW to ride to your Mansion in Goa where you'll see Asha Bhosle waiting to teach you"

Another thing Zee can do is: Vaccum their bodies of liquids before announcing the result 😆, or decide the winner instead of a loser...so 11 of the orig. 12 won't feel as bad cuz they're not the only one's eliminated

umm I think they should have multiple eliminations at a time rather than just one...that way the focus isn't on the one kid. it feels horrible to know that everyone made it through except for you. in some shows like boogie woogie I have seen that there are many contestants in one week but only a few make it through to the next round, so a lot of them get eliminated together. that's kind of how it was in the old SRGM format too.

another idea is like what summerji said, and I have seen this format on other reality shows, to have no eliminations at all but just declare the best in each episode. and whoever wins the most episodes at the end is the final winner.

We can make it like the caucus race in Alice in Wonderland. Everyone keeps singing, and gets little trinkets as prizes. But there will be no real winner and no eliminations. But then thats not as exciting is it.

Yes, it is hard to see this..
But not everyone is like this. There are number of people here who was wildly celebrating the elimination of Shalini and feeling the pages with hatred for the little kid.
I was shocked to see these inhuman reactions where people can show so much hatred for a kid.
But sadly, these people exist and they celebrate at the tears of a kid.

Kids are kids everywhere no matter where they are from India or America.....Kids in America would be disappointed too with elimination but they are much more apt to accept reality and decisions than Indian kids....We saw that LC auditions....Not only kids cry but their parents also cry or get upset over elimination....I do agree kids show should be handled bit differently especially eliminations...😳
Apple and orange comparison IMHO.....
