Such a beautiful song and we hear it repeatedly on TV and radio, but Alkaaji says she has never heard this song before. SURPRISE!!!!!

yes often songs have to suit the theme and sometimes it is based on a particular singer's song.

I do not like a singer to be a Jack of All Trades n Master of none.

And in this performance, I thought that Yashodhan finally chose a song that suited his voice perfectly and did a stunning job as well. And that's when they kicked him out.

Zee ppl select songs for the candidates though they give them a list of some selected songs and then candidates have to pick one and sometimes ur fvrt song goes to some other participant and then u cant do anything, but still i loved Yashodhan's all performances. he is of course excellent when he sings tough classicals, there is no1 at his comparison when it comes to classical based songs
