Thanks for posting, Summer bhaiya! I absolutely loved this performance. What problem I think Yashodhan was having was choosing songs that don't suit his voice. And in this performance, I thought that Yashodhan finally chose a song that suited his voice perfectly and did a stunning job as well. And that's when they kicked him out.

Anju this is such a lovely sentimental song that sticks to our mind once we hear it.

I will give Alkaji the benefit of the doubt.

But it is also a very difficult song to perform and Yasodhan did very well.

Yes this was one of the best of this seasons perrformance. Kitni feeling se gaya hai and I heard Khan saheb's version - Yashodhan has done full justice to this song. And about Alkaji not knowing this song - very obvious reason again - unke type ka gana nahin hain- I wonder why zee people have not selected only Alka and Abhijit's type of singers. And song selection is entirely done by mentors - children are helpless (only those who are not judges; favourite or projected). Judge should be aware of all the songs to be performed by kids - idhar udhar ki nautanki se achha hai ki - atleast 1 ghanta - original gane hi sun le. 😡

Slow songs are always difficult to sing because it require "Thahrao" in your voice, Yashodhan voice has got good base and hold to sing such classic song which revels his vocal quality, which you can not judge in fast numbers where music and beats . He also displayed the same in "Ya rabba". Yashodhan, These people will not understand what you have sang.

None of th contestants are allowed to choose their own songs. Zee decides to pick their song.

This was also confirmed by Harpreet, Sumedha and now Yashodhan.
