Quick Review 3rd July - Page 2

I think the song selection wasn't impressive to you, because they didn't pick an extreme genre. They just sung fimy songs (with the exception of Abhijeet) and on top of that, it's too early for them to pick really hard songs like from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

I did think that they performed better last week too, though...but that might be because I have a bias for sufi songs. They also didn't seem as perfect though. Yatharth was sharp in his low notes in the beginning. Abhijeet, Shreyasi, and Abhigyan were a little sharp in the high notes...if I'm remebering the right people, but I'm positive on Abhigyan...and he had breathing problems (but no one mentioned the section he took right before that was impressive but ended up costing him that one breath).

Anyway, these four, I thought were the best this week. I liked Abhijeet slightly more than Yatharth though...maybe because of the genre, but Abhijeet's song was harder and Yatharth, I think was trying something out of his comfort zone.

Weakest (sorry) Shalini and Antara...and I think they both kind of had the same problems in their singing...their voices weren't suited for it and then the sur...and just overall wrong feeling in the song.

Hemant wasn't the best this week, but I think for his voice, he had really good song choice. Out of all of the kids, I could only picture that song in his voice.

Swarit- good singing with good performance (for all of the people out there who get bored of just singing). I thought he sounded better in the song than when Abhijeet sung on stage...but that's probably because of my dislike for Abhijeet.

They overhyped Yatharth, it was never a performance for standing ovation. He copied the original, sang in multiple voices, he even read the song instead of singing at couple time, he was sharp at places, he sang to himself at places. But got standing ovation, while Yashodhan was better today but these people picked problem in that. Over all not an impressive day for singing.

I thought Yatharth sang really well, def. deserved the Champ of the Day.
I was expecting Yashodan to be better, but he disappointed me greatly. His sur was fine, but to me, he just wasn't completely in the song. Plus, his voice didn't match the song.
Shreyasi was good, as was Abhijeet.
Abhigyan, I had high hopes for, although he did sing quite well, just not up to his usual self. Can't wait to see tmrw's show

I think abhijeet did not justice to "Naina thag lenge" his voice got cracked in the last. this song should have been sung by Yashodhan. I have seen this song on Yashodha's youtube page. he is remarkable in that ( there is a huge differences between these two voices).

He was ok in "Tum ko paaya" song but not a song for his kind.

Hemant was completely nasal and will go out of this show very soon.

overall it was not a very good episode. Yatharth was very good as always but given lot of extra attention by Abhijeet

Abhijeet is singing much better than other who already performed.

Antra was bad too.

Farah was also low.

Priyanka was good but punch was missing.

Hemant was worst, fully nasal.

Shreyasi was good but not great and her voice quality is very generic

Swarit was also good, bindaas singer. gata hai aor gata hi jata hai

Abhigyana was ok.

Wrong choice for champ of the day. That should be either Abhijeet or Yashodhan.

I agree on all points for 3rd July episode , and would like to add , Swarit needs to focus more on singing rather than dancing and acting !! actually that goes for all the contestants........hope they focus more on singing !!

it was shocking to see Farah out when singers like Shalini and Swarit r still in?????????😲

I simply do not understand on what basis are they judging these kids....... Im afraid who would be the next as i dont think thy r going to eliminate Shalini and Swarit on the basis of their dramatic skills.....

Ah Priyanka was fabulous on the 4th. Hope she keeps it up.

Comments from judges was that they try not to introduce too much changes to her style.
