Yes Aneek was quite young at the time he sang this and also it is not at a studio where several retakes can be taken. He has made a wonderful attempt but I am sure he does not want to be compared against anyone whom he respects a lot.

Rafi Sahab and Sonuji they are professional singers.

Sonuji keeps promoting Rafi Sahab as he holds him in very high regard.

And exactly HOW was it better? Listen I GAVE my reason for aneek being better in main agar kahoon. Similarly I can give examples as to why rafi was better than sonu(or anyone else) with reasons apart from "personal taste".
But you haven't compared the 2 properly.
I'm not saying you should judge em individually, but comparing em is ok 😊

Just because rafi is sonus idol and he is sonu hasn't even sang 1 song as well or better doesn't HAVE to be the same with sonu n aneek. im not saying aneek can sing all of rabba mere rabba rabba, kal ho na ho, saathiya better.. but I feel he is more suited to romantic songs.

remember how rafi's brother was mocked for saying his lil bro would challenge saigal! Rafi filled saigals void and built a new void 20 times that size!

Now if you cant prove yours without just saying "he was better he as better" then its obvious that aneek did sing it better...

Under normal circumstances i don't believe most reality show singers can be compared with him but if someone makes a poll doing just that, i never get angry that Sonu is compared to anyone. Aaah that would be great! The book is entitled "Wolf Island" and again the author is Darren shan.. It's book 8 of the dmeonata series lol... and Yeah seriously!! It's not like his range is as good as kk's but kk's sentimental songs are slightly overtaken by sonu's so its not that anyone's the most supremely perfect singer like rafi or lata to consider comparison with them blasphemous! 😆
plus i never said aneek can sing sonus songs better than him.. i was talking purely abt main agar kahoon which had aneek wrtten all over it..

when ismail or vishal shekhar said that amanat sang ankhon mein teri so well he could have been used instead of kk i doubt if anyone here said it was nonsense and pointed out amanat's terrible breathing ! 😃

You got it, i said the same thing about Amanat's performance. Or whenever people made statements about Raja singing as well as Sukhwinder noone made a fuss although Sukhwinder is established as well hmmmm... But somehow whenever Aneek is involved it gets messy. @ Summer ji, i will tell you why i am glad Aneek would never compare himself to any other singer, and why no singer established or otherwise will make any comparisons with others. Aneek is humble and a perfectionist so he keeps his standards high as do any other serious singers. Plus, we would be thinking so low of any of these singers who go around comparing themselves with others. The only people who can evaluate singers like this are the fans... Think about it, there are thousands of voices out there trying to catch fan's attention in so many different languages and styles and it is up to the fans to decide who they will listen to. So naturally a discussion will arise about which version of a song someone prefers if it was sung by a few different people. As fans we have so much music out there for our listening pleasure so we can make decisions about which version of a song we like because we have no particular incentive for liking one over the other except whatever resonates with us...

Well Raja and amanat were compared with Sukhi and kk who dont profile themselves as much as sonu or shaan.. lol and profiling makes sonu/shaan look the best and greatest.. whether they are or not is debatable... Exactly the fans and only the fans have the right to compare. Not jagjit or abhijeet or anyone else.

all i wanted here was just for people to compare based on whatever qualities they like in each song... But you are right profiling makes all the difference. I remember when Pritam made a comment that showed Kay Kay in a bit of a better light than Sonu and Sonu fans were enraged. I admit my knee jerk reaction was to feel the same way, and for a while i did, but after thinking about it i thought that Pritam's songs suit Kay Kay a bit better. Even though i prefer Sonu, i would rather hear Kay Kay sing Zara Si Dil Mein De Jaga Tu instead of Sonu sing it and when i realized that i guess i became more open minded on his comments. So all we need to do is analyze before getting frustrated.

sadly, sonu does not have his master's range.. he may ATTEMPT singing at a very high scale, but he goes nasal and shrill just like many of the others ...kk's high pitch singing exceeds his...full throat😃.. chodo no need for more controversies 😉

I personaaly think that both shouldnt be compared to eachother and that also for a song whicxh was oroginally sung by the legend to me both were ok evethough I feel sonu is far better than Aneek anyway still i'd say both were good!😊
