Frankly, I think the parents don't want to tell her she doesn't sing well. Because the main reason she's doing this is because she thinks she would have been chosen if she were a boy. Of course, we have to hear her sing to actually make that judgment, I suppose.

Anyway, I saw this movie...Mulan :P Yeah, she dressed up as a boy so that she wouldn't disappoint her family...and what-not, but she ended up bringing honor to her family as a girl :)

Bobby D. Confuzzles me is he a transsexual as in man wanting to be a woman or is he a cross dressing gay man or a drag.

I only watch Zee channel, Di, so I am not up-to-date with everything in Bollywood unless it's about the real popular ones, and more importantly the ones I care about! 😉 I have seen this name being mentioned in some posts by OBJu I think, but I thought he made that up! 😆 😆

Has (s)he been in any Zee serials?? In a hijda's role or what?? 😆

On a related note, I cant help asking, or say wondering -- does that girl think that her voice would become deeper and masculine after her gender is changed?? Wouldnt she end up as a she-voiced boy?? And to think about her singing in a boy's voice, I think Usha Uthup can do a far better job and as a 100% woman!!!

Disksha looks like a boy, talks like a boy and sings like a boy. I was shocked when she says she is a girl when her attire is of a boy. I thought she was joking. I think she is better off as a boy/man otherwise she will look like a hidgra if remains to be a girl.
