Who cares about the accent these days? Everyone speaks with an accent - could be Mumbai, South Indian, Dhilli, Punjabi, UP, MP, Bengali, Bihari, etc etc... The bottom line is - everyone who speaks Hindi (or even English) speaks with an accent!! If they say others have an accent, they are forgetting that they also have an accent to the very same 'others'!! 😉 😃

I learnt Hindi during my school years as a second language, but could never pick up the grammar properly. The toughness of it made me lose interest I guess. But at the same time, I loved English grammar and excelled in it... 😕 😃

that's good, you should be able to excell in one. ye what you said about the accent is true, everyone has it and no accent is the norm of this world, so it doesn't matter.

Yes, with globalization, no one bothers about accent anymore unless they are like 'the frog in a well'.. It's like an American saying to a British or Australian or Canadian that they have an accent for their English, when for them, the American also speaks with an accent! And then within the same nation itself, there are so many forms of dialects and accents for English... Hindi has the same thing in India... 😃
