Just like to add not always desi men would like to hold their women back. There is a tendency of dependence in desi women which they may have acquired all thru their life from parents or sarroundings are the real cause. But yeh it was nice interacting 😃

Because I lack self control, and have no problems admitting it, I will reply to your post. 😆
You're right, not all desi men like to hold women back, but that doesn't lessen the fact that great amounts of them do hold them back. Its not that desi women are dependent, its that our culture keeps women so tied up in other things such as family that they do not get a chance to go out and live up to their full potential. Don't mistake a woman's role as a caregiver with dependence. Its because they have so many responsibilites unlike the men that they have to remain so engrossed in other things besides there lack of apparent independence. Anyways --- if given the opportunity a woman can be just as independent as a man. And there's no denying that.

i feel bad but even in this age, women have not been able to break this barrier.
