Suresh Wadkarji too sang it live.

no offense to lata ji, but she struggles in very high pitch.. she did the same for tum mujhe yun bhula na paaoge... the md's made a mistake in giving her rafi's songs... rafi, u see his range varies from lower than most males to higher than even some females! thats one of the many reasons i worship him...


i read the below quote from some article from mohdrafi.com:
rd burman said, "asha, lata, kishore da, mukesh ... sab apne aap ke range hai, lekin rafi saahab ka range kamaal hain."

and suresh ji!! omg he struggled soooooo much in his rendition.. i didn't enjoy it at all..

now sonu sang this song very well.. in his album kal aaj aur kal rafi.. i have it.. its very nice.
only problem is he sings the classical or sad songs very well only.. the song deewana mujhsa nahin from teesri manzil which is supposed to be an outdoorsy melodious songs, is sung by sonu as if he was singing khilona.. too slow and sad..

Yes Rafi Saahab makes it look simple and sings with ease. Very natural as if he communicates in daily ilfe through songs.

even i'm particular abt tempo

i love 50's and 60's slow songs and songs of normal tempo.. songs which are too fast sound cheap, no matter who sings it.. kk, rafi, etc.
