Rafi always sang with so much ease and truly was a versatile genius. Here is one of his immortal songs "Likhe jo khat tujhe"
Quote: "Kanyadaan is an Indian Hindi film [1969] directed by Mohan Segal, starring Shashi Kapoor and Asha Parekh. Music by Shankar -Jaikishen... Singer: Mohammed Rafi (December 24, 1924 -- July 31, 1980) ."

After listening to some amateurish shayaris on SRGMP, I thought we should listen to some professional pieces and professional voices. "Din dhala jaye"
Love Devanand and his words "Zindagi bhi ek nasha hai dost"
Stars: Devanand/Waheeda Rehman Movie "Guide"

Bellvue perhaps you like his lovely sentimental "Man re tu kahe na"
Quote: "The song filmed very beautifully on Pradeep Kumar, legendary actor of Bollywood. Melodious music by Roshan, and lyrics by Sahir Ludhiyanavi makes the song immportal. I like the song very much and watch the video every day. What a great combination of Pradeep Kumar, Rafi Saheb, Roshan, Sahir and not to forget the director of the movie, Kedar sharma."
"Mus.Dir.Roshan proved by his own life-long work that Indian audiences can be entertained most meaningfully only with film music that has its roots in Indian classical music."

The Legend Rafi often sang with the Legend Lataji. Here Lataji sings from the 1957 Movie "Paying Guest" a wonderful number called "Chand Phir Nikala". Nutan acts with Devananad

Thanks Varshadi (hope got your name right). You must have watched and loved the movie it seems.

Rafi Shaab sings with so much ease and fits into the character completely. He does not hurry a song and keeps pace with the required timing very naturally and effortlessly.
