I totally disagree. I think you are seeing it in the wrong sense. I have re-watched it and could not see any 'cuddling' between the two. There are harmless hugs which friends give each other. They are comforting. Since Soumen was in bottom 3 and just escaped elimination, he must be shaken and there is no harm in little comfort.

Is Sujat ur role model ? She did not do anything that her mom should bang her head or asma should feel any shame. She is representing her country, not only her mom but whole of her country people should feel proud that she is competiting in non arabic singing competition and trying her level best. Her conduct, simplicity and charm brightens the whole show and atleast bring smile on the face of people. No doubt she is weakest among the rest and sooner or later, she has to leave but she hasnt done a big sin as ur describing it.

I feel pitty on ur comment. My personal suggestion "Dont bang ur head too much". 😆
I read a story a frog in a well always feel that the world is limited to the well boundaries. When the frog came out of the well it learnt the world is more then its perception. 😊

As far as I have seen on the show, Soumen appears to be a very level headed guy with care for other contestants in his heart, and the same appears to be for Asma too despite her singing issues. And everyone when there is some happy news or sad news, they have group hugs - very friendly gesture which only means that they care and they are equally happy or sad. Soumen has always shown it as appreciation and care - when someone wins a prize or the chakkar or someone is leaving - he is from Calcutta and that's a common practice there.
