By the you forgot to mention about Faraz butt. He is also one of the contestant from Pakistan. Not only sara, sujat and zaheer he should also be praised. Dont u think so?
Honestly I never liked Faraz, obviously not every one coming from Pakistan is going to be as good as Amanat, Zaheer, Sujaat, Mussarat, and Sara, and I am not making comparisons in b/w Pakistani and Indian singers - they all are very talented.
Good point - I agree. I didnt like Faraz much either, but I liked him more than Sara though. He appeared to be a joker than a singer, and that perception would have cost him to lose so fast. Again, Amanat is way too good - no one earlier and no one in this round even deserves to be compared to him! Putting Amanat on the top (way high), next one would be Shujat, then Zaheer, then Mussarat, then Faraz and then Sara. Well, I am excluding Indian singers here, as I dont want to make it appear like an India vs Pakistan comparison. 😊
Very well said and yes Faraz acted like a clown (more of a drama) instead of concentrating on singing - no question Amanat was outstanding but I do believe Shujaat is equally good if not better - the problem is his consistency, may be trying to do too much, on the other hand Zaheer has been very consistant through out - Do you agree?Zaheer has been consistent in the sense that he picks the right songs every week - something he knows that would be very well accepted by the crowd, and that's where Shujat makes the mistakes. Shujat always picks hard to sing songs to show his versatility. He might be thinking that he will appeal more to the crowd that way, and I dont know why he is not getting it or not being advised about it so far. All the judges have mentioned that to many contestants several times - that this is not the time to prove versatility or your capacity to sing hard songs. Each time he fails to appeal to the public, and yet he makes the same mistake again, and selects even more difficult songs.
In short, Shujat picks melodious songs often and Zaheer picks heavy beat ones (like his Gharana's name is - Rock). I feel bad for Shujat as he is really good and better than Zaheer...
I believe the song selection is in the hands of a mentor (Pritamji in this case) and Shujjat is trying to hit a six every time he is on the crease.
