That is just a personal choice/opinion. He isnt the best for everyone - not for me anyway. I liked Shujat more than Zaheer, and now out of the remaining guys, I like Soumen more than him. So it is all how each individual preferences are set. And note that he isnt the only one on the show who is a learned professional, so that adds more toughness to the 'preferred contestant' competition. With drama, it's not only Zaheer who stays out of it, a bunch of them do. In fact it is easier to list those who does drama than saying who doesnt.

Akkanaji yes it is individual preference. But how do you rank Debo, whom Pritamji wants to drag to the recording studio immediately? 😆

I believe he was ranked second last week to Yashita Yaspal/?

As for Zaheer he is one of the best in his own genre of songs and he has come in tops ( Shujat has not made it that far yet, but he does have a lot of potential)

Regarding Debo, I do like his singing, and I do believe he would do good with a recording. After all, every singer start like that, and compared to many, he has a better ground for a beginner. In fact last week, I expected Soumen to be number one, and then Vaishali, Prathibha, Yashita, Debo and Zaheer - in any order. Soumen is no less talented compared to Zaheer, and I think Soumen has a lot more versatility in singing plus an unique voice that stands out. I cannot connect to Zaheer's singing - bottom line. As long as I cannot feel his songs, I will not find him as of any exceptional kind. I have the same issue with Tarun's songs too. Though not all, I could feel that connection with many of the songs sung by Soumen and Debo. And among the girls, with Vaishali and Prathibha.
