Ekta Kapoor's idea to have a joint musical concert to promote EMI and Karzzzz, was hijacked by Bhushan Kumar and Himesh Reshammiya
In a few days from now, Himesh Reshammiya will dance with Amisha Patel, Celina Jaitly, Neha Dhupia on Star Plus. The programme, which will be a musical concert to publicise Karzzz, which releases on October 17. The concert will be aired on Star Plus.
However, sources say that Himesh Reshammiya and the producer of Karzzzz Bhushan Kumar have hijacked Ekta Kapoor's idea to have this concert jointly. Our source says, "It was Ekta's brainchild to make the music concert bigger by combining her and Bhushan's upcoming films - EMI and Karzzzz respectively. She too wanted to do it on Star Plus."

Adds our source, "However, Himesh did not endorse the idea and, he and Bhushan went ahead and planned a separate musical concert for Karzzzz. This concert will be aired on Star Plus a few days before Karzzzz hits the theatres."
When contacted, Himesh said, "I'm not aware of this." However, Bhushan did not deny that Balaji Films had suggested that they should have a joint music concert on Star Plus. He said, "We are shooting the same with Amisha, Celina and Neha. Himesh wanted to do Karzzzz separately." However, he did not agree that the idea to have Himesh's music concert on television was Ekta's brainchild.
Our source further says, "No one else but Ekta had come up with that plan. Himesh and Bhushan should have agreed. It was a great idea by Ekta and Himesh wouldn't have lost anything."
Ekta remained unavailable for comment.
Himesh did not endorse the idea and, he and Bhushan went ahead and planned a separate musical concert for Karzzzz
