yashita is an excellent singer...who can sing songs in one genre..that's western mix.....

she's getting encouragement and hype frm gurus what other female contestants are not getting...so it will increase her confidence level.....

but in my opinion other than asma...all other female singers are far better and versatile than her......

and some times i feel she has an attitude ...and i feel like her dramas awkward.....to call arshad,imran on stage....(like last years indian idol contestant ankita who asked all the celebrities who came to the show to dance with her...)

Don't get me wrong, Yashita sings well but her expressions are so cheap and some judges looks at her with melting mouths. look at her confidence that she doesn't even feel shy.

Also I did not like the way she responded to Pratibha's defense of her town "agar chhote shehar ki ladki mujhe challange karegi"..there should be some respect shown for your colleagues. Also when Shankar mentioned that Pratibha has sung all uncoventional songs..Yashita rolled her eyes as if saying that "she" was the one who had been unconventional.

She's a reasonably good singer, she has a pretty face, but certainly overweight. She will look better if she sheds her excess fat!

I don't really think her expressions are cheap. I think its just the way the producers, from some stupid reason, like to present her.

Ever since she said that line "main hoon badi sheher ki, aur main yeh challenge accept karoongi" or whatever, my dad's always like gosh I don't like this girl, she's so arrogant, etc.
but in my mind I'm always defending that, bringing up the fact that all of that is beautifully scriptedddd.

Also, the footage is editted. Thus when a contestant smiles or something, they always put that part of the footage in a location where it looks like the contestant was laughing/smiling at another contestant's criticism or something.
