I found the telugu version of the song:

Varshaben,our Koyal Shreya has never looked back since then.

While Ronkini,Nupur were better than Aishwarya,we have to note that Aishwarya was just 11 yrs old then.Now she is known to all music lovers.

By the way Ronkini is temporarily absent from music scene as she is doing her MBA in Pune.It is always better to have a second sring to the bow in the form of academic achievement.

Yes Maheshbhai. Ronkani was one of my favorites too. She did some Music directing in album but we have not seen or heard her on any of the shows lately. Once I did notice her on Indian Idol auditions couple yrs ago but I guess now she is busy with MBA studies. Thanks for sharing.

Ronkini's version was my favorite. I also enjoyed the Poonam's variation with the stringing of yaman onto it. Aishwarya was around 7 I think and for those of you who followed her through SVOI, you know that she is living up to that initial promise.
