Also, you are forgetting that Pritam is a replacement for Bappi Lahiri. So his job is really to sit there and give useless comments and be completely clueless about the competition. At least he spares us by not singing songs in Bengali in every episode. 😆😆

Its good that ARR and legendary Ilayaraja dont become a part of this show because they also would be ridiculed for singing in Tamil, each and every state has contribution in development of Hindi music.
If Salil da had thought on this line Keralities wont have got music in so many of their films.
Bengal has rich contribution in Hindi music, there have been quite a few legendary composers form Bengal and both Rabindra Sangeet and Nazrul geeti have been used liberally to make Hindi songs, nothing wrong in that.

ID, I meant no offense to any region, including Bengal. But if you remember last season, Bappida did not spare a moment to annoy us by singing songs in Bengali that at times did not even have any relevance to what was being said. I was simply poking fun at Bappida and it just so happens that he sang Bengali songs. Otherwise, I'm sure regional music isn't given the credit that it deserves. You got me wrong on this one.

And also, in the above bolded part you say "good music", but with all respect to Bappida, I don't think his voice falls under that category be it any language. 😆😆
