In it a great waste if either of them were to stop singing.
Uditji sings very well with a deep macho voice, hope Adi can pick his skills.
Sonuji sings a bit softer, but has fine control and also experiments and tries out new things.

The good thing about Udit's voice is that it's more clear and confident and louder than Sonu's voice. That makes Udit's voice better than Sonu's voice.

Kumar Sanu's voice is better than Sonu Nigam's too. Kumar's voice is soft and deep, while Sonu's voice is just soft. Deep voice makes a voice more mature.

It is hard to compare Udit's voice to Kumar's voice. I still think Udit's voice is better because it is orginial, crisp, louder, confident, and clear.

^ Kumar Sanu's voice better than Sonu's? I completely disagree. I never found there to be anything special about Kumar, and I never understood how he lasted so long in the industry. His nasalality and poor diction compelled me to stop listening to songs I otherwise would have liked.
Anyway, that's just my opinion...Which voice appeals to an individual is a matter of personal choice. No matter how many Udit Narayan songs you post here, you'll never get everyone to agree with you.

You are comparing Sonu to Kumar Sanu?

Hahahaha

check this video: http://in.youtube.com/watch?v=hcIu2Bv4B0s (both Kumar Sanu and Sonu Nigam)

I am pretty sure you will say Kumar Sanu is better than Sonu Nigam after watching both sing from the middle of the video.

I heard that Kumar Sanu himself quit the show. How come a bollywood legendary singer will not get a chance to sing when he got 5 filmfare awards in a row? He asks for more money to sing, that makes him a better singer too.

Voice Quality:
1. Udit
2. Kumar Sanu
3. Sonu

Uditji sounds better when he sings with Alka. Their voices complement each other. They both sound to romantic. Uditji has the quality of 'friendliness" in his voice.

Must I repeat it again? Different voices appeal to different people. Can't you respect the opinions of others?
I don't care if Kumar Sanu won 20 filmfare awards in a row. I just don't like his voice. And there are obviously people who agree with me, which is why you don't see any sign of him in the industry anymore.

Totally agree with the last part. As far as the Udit/Alka combo...I liked it, but I don't think it makes Udit sound better. I loved how he sounded with Shreya in the Vivah soundtrack, for instance. I personally think he sounds his best in soft solo numbers.

oh so Sonu is your favourite. okay

Probably the reason Kumar Sanu does not sing in bollywood movies because he asks more money than other singers.

The thread is Udit vs Sonu. You gotta admit the fact "Udit has got a better voice than Sonu. "

I think Udit and Kumar are far better than Sonu.

^ Sonu is not my favorite....Have you already forgotten my posts on the last page? I already said that I like Udit, Shaan and KK's voices better than Sonu's. But I like Sonu's better than Kumar's.

The only point I'm trying to make is that you shouldn't disrespect other people's opinions. We're all different and like different sounds. You can't generalize about voice quality like you've been doing.
