As for Sara, I think she did a good job with Piya ke rung. Such songs really suit her but the issue that arises with that is whether or not she is capable of singing songs of all types. But she can go a long way.

Sara has sung many different songs. First intro song sufi type then goolmal hip hop type. Kabhi Aar kabhi par thats another type of song. Then Kehna hi kya, Piya ke rung etc.
I think she is capable of singing any type of song. Thats my opinion and time will tell how far she can go. In public voting anything is possible. If public vote for her singing talent fairly (without prejudice) then she can go upto top 6 at least.

Eliminated contestant Manisha was better than Sara, later has messed quite a few songs and deserved elimination 2-3 weeks ago IMHO. She needs to work on tone which sounds nasal, sur is a problem in difficult songs with her and she was best in her first rendition, never saw her in that form again, perhaps has lost focus. Don't know complete picture but Anand ji bhai was quite annoyed with her.

When Sara sings, most often it sounds like Muslim songs - there is that tone always hidden and kind of dragged into her singing style all the time. Compared to Anupama, Manisha, and Jenice, who were eliminated, Sara has no swara raga laya thalam! No offense, but Sara is nothing big when compared to those who were unfortunately eliminated earlier. And the three Pak boys sing much better than her...

I think Sara has won the hearts of the mentors. Could be her Scorpio Charm. But it is nice to see the first lady of Pakistan being able to hold on. I believe she did study music.
No doubt that the 3 ladies who were eliminated were equally good too in their own areas.
Song selection makes all the difference.

what do you know about Muslim songs, and please do explain, if you are saying that she sounds like muslim songs, or you were trying to imply that she is a muslim. if you want to phrase some thing PLEASE GIVE THE RELIGION OUT OF THIS. also if you want to show respect to a fellow country don't say PAK, use the proper name.

If I wanted to imply she is muslim, then there is a bunch of contestants who are muslims!! Dont try to read between lines and imply unnecessary meaning just for the sake of creating fights. If you dont know what muslim songs are like, what is the point of explaining it?! I grew up among all kinds of religious neighbors and I do know what I am talking about, and I do know what each religious song tones are like! But most Hindi film songs, unless they are supposed to be inclined towards a religion, usually sound absolutely free of any religious tones.
I have the right to use Pak and it is very well understood by any readers. I dont see any difference in writing the complete name or the abbreviation - it does not show any lack of respect what so ever!! In that case, every time people should be writing United States of America instead of US or USA, United Kingdom instead of UK, Andhra Pradesh for AP, Uttar Pradesh for UP, and so on. It was used for typing speed and that should be self understood. If India had a name that was too long to type, I wouldnt mind using an abbreviation for India either. If you get rid off the religious perspective mind in interpreting things, you will be able to see things more clearly.
