Skype support added to India Forums - Page 3

since you are a skype subscriber for long can you clear this doubt? isn't skype developed by kazaa? and kazaa is notorious:) for installing bundles of adwares. am i wrong? it's just that i have doubts about P2P telephony😛 and wanted to clear my doubt before downloading. is it easier to uninstall skype completely?

Hi Anju,

I understand your concern and I was also skeptical in the beginning. As far as I know Kazaa was an excellent software and really helped in P2P software growth. They had to resort to adwares later to continue with the project cost and further development.

Well Skype is a seperate entity and already a BIG Internet company and have got tonnes of V.C. funding and awards and have a better revenue model so they do not have to depend on adwares.

The software comes with the assurance that it contains no Malwares, SPywares or Adwares.

its a program where you can talk to other members in indian forums. if you want to set up a skype id. then go to settings. then click on edit profile. and then u can enter your skype id.
