"Likes and Who liked it" was one the most interesting feature and usp of this site.

With the increased number of clicks in the new site to see many details which were available above the fold or as effortlessly visible earlier, these would become less useful now. Once the curiosity goes down about who liked it compared to the time it takes, there would be no meaning left to click the like button as well.

I just noticed another issue that the likes feature is completely removed from the old posts and fictions on the forum.

I was/am looking forward to the new site with like-for-like features (all the great useful features including the likes) of the old site and more. if not more, hope to see all the as-is features of the old site with backward compatibility given as the old posts, content, formatting look distorted now.

More than half the issues are because the of unavailability of these features. While few features are restored and thanks to the dev/implementation team for doing it, hope to have all the old site features available in the new one soon.

I have found, if I quote the quote second time, it gives me 500 error again.

Yeh access denied ka khuch to kariye . Whenever I want to enter to forum it show access denied for few minutes aaj access denied hi main problem hai

Sorry for late replying due to another problem of 403 Access Denied coming.

Same problem with me. I tried to split but only 1 part is updated. I am trying to get it resolved but no success. Those who getting updates done theirs update nay be smaller one below 1000 words while ours in above 5000 words. I hope this issue gets solved soon and we being able to update like before.

Thanks to you guys for your work done till date. I could post "A Must Post or rather an Article" as my tradition in colourful text, with lots of pics. I was worried on 500 dump but luckily got posted.

Please do refer to the link, font size work is completed by Jayashree; but choosing any one XL or L size with Ctrl A(select all) does not bring the text to uniform size, rather just increases existing size by 125 or whatever in percentage.

can you please give, the font sizes as older version, ctrl A or selected area should bring entire font in one size and not just increase the copy pasted/ posted size by %.

Perhaps due to some intense work going on in your server, all of us are getting 403 or 500 errors randomly. I am just attaching screenshots for you to debug from your error log.

Hello Vijay... in last 2 days, you have spent max time with us in sorting out the issues and thank you so much for all your efforts... :)

Well, coming to the above post by someone...she had posted how she misses it...if you ask for a vote from members, I would say, 90 /100 would go for this "like" display. This is one of the specialty of IF and now you are saying that this feature was taking lot of server resource...and hence you are changing it? I am really sorry to say that I am quite disappointed with your thoughts and decisions.

Please understand firstly, what is IF for us??... IF is not only a platform where we share information , but its a friend's gathering. I have made n' number of friends here with whom I chat on regular basis...it is so much of a fun to see who all have liked the post and supporting me...as their names stands out in lines, and makes it colourful, it adds colours to your positiveness. IF has become a part of our life for its friendly features and this "Liking" method in the old format is one of the main feature that each and every member use to love it. it really looks cute and attractive and so very different from other social sites. Especially, when you post an update for a fan fiction you are writing, you feel so pleased to see the number of likes and names of the people shown in horizontal lines...and that would encourage us to write further. Now, we just get to see only number of likes? Its really not done! :(

Also, now, each and every member who likes my post, I am not able to see if they are a new bee, senior member or an IF rocker and even more senior, isn't it even more demotivating factor for the members who are liking my posts?

I hope you understand my point of view on this. please dont make changes that only benefits IF team, you need to consider what we members prefer.
