Shreyas Iyer in stable condition; BCCI confirms he's recovering bringing relief to fans
BCCI has confirmed that the internal bleeding of Shreyas Iyer has been arrested and he has made good recovery.

Fans of Indian cricket were worried as Shreyas Iyer was admitted to the ICU of a Sydney Hospital due to a rib cage injury. It seems he had ruptured his spleen, which caused some internal bleeding. The doctors have now stopped the bleeding and he has been moved to a private room from the ICU. They did a couple of tests and the results are positive. He is recovering well, and they shared a picture of him smiling on the hospital bed. The secretary of BCCI, Devajit Saikia confirmed the same in a statement to the press. This has made fans heave a sigh of relief.
It seems the BCCI medical team along with Indian specialists are continuously in touch with doctors in Australia. It seems Shreyas Iyer had fainted in the Indian dressing room and was immediately rushed to the ICU. BCCI informed his parents who were flown down to Australia to be with the player. All of us fans are grateful that he is doing well. India lost the ODI series against Australia. In the Sydney match, Shreyas Iyer took a spectacular tumbling catch but fell on the ground. It hurt his rib cage causing damage to his spleen.
Mohammad Kaif in a interview said that he is praying for the quick recovery of Shreyas Iyer. He said it was scary but hopes he is back in good health.
