I too want mya posts back. you should have started this giving warning to members and it should be with current date. deleting old posts is not the solutions

Though I HV lost 3k + posts which were mostly.my initial days posts where I wasn't so confident abt posting more

But I like this idea too

But hope our one word comment on some FF or os is not deleted

I believe there is some misunderstanding that posting the name of your favourite show in the CM / Celebrity ranking post will increase their ranking. It's NOT TRUE. It is simply an announcement topic and we are not using it as a parameter to determine Show Rank or Celebrity Rank.

With these +1 posts our forums has gotten slower and was consuming a lot of precious database space. We are also working on removing link spammers but since its a manual process to go through them its taking longer time.

We have so far just removed the posts from Rules & Announcement forums and Forum Games. We would also be combing through the Chat Club Forum.

We are already seeing a good jump in our forum speed and we are hoping with these changes things are going to get even better.
