It's silly how people are complaining about their important posts disappearing when only the CM rank threads and games forums have been cleared.

Hellooo, this means all of those one liner spam posts on the CM rank thread have been removed. If your rank only went up to due to these spam posts, you don't deserve that rank. Stop hounding Vijay... he's just trying to improve the performance of the site.

It's shocking that people have made as many as 20k spam posts. Wow.

I don't know. It depends on how the algorithm is wired. If it's designed to find any one word posts and delete them then yes, res posts will be deleted.

As many FF's people chat

If the chatting comprises of one word posts then maybe. Even I chat on my FF threads sometimes but we usually chat about my FF rather than random things.

I wasn't talking about you, was I? I was referring to certain members who I have seen spamming the CM rank threads on a regular basis and then complaining about it on here.

Plus, it's Vijay who said that only those two sections have been cleared. Maybe by now, other sections are starting to be cleared as well so that explains where your posts are going.

Spamming isn't allowed either but people still do it... I don't even know what moral policing means but isn't your reply to my post an example of moral policing as well?

This raises another point. There really should be a delete option for posts. I hate it when I want to delete a post but I can't. Due to my Internet connection, a lot of my posts end up being posted twice. I hope my 'sorry double posts' get deleted because I don't like an untrue post count.
