Contest On Hold for Balloon Recalculation - Page 133

Can somebody tell me what happened. I was here when the contest was halted and balloon recalculation was being done. Went off to sleep and now it says balloon contest is going to resume soon? No winners? Can somebody update me on that.

Hope that helps. I checked my balloon balance and I don't agree with. I had less incorrect answers then it shows. Oh well, its OK. I don't think I will play anymore. I wish they had a winner.

Brief update on what is happening:

Contest programming had errors to some extent causing a mistake in totalling balloons exchanged between members.

A recount suggested a completely different scenario

Vijay recommended that we update totals and continue from there...it will add some balloons to everyone's account and extend the contest but it would be more fair to do this

Discussion - arguments - corrections followed among members and with Vijay.

Final decision - contest will restart tomorrow with the new recalculated totals. OK, so this is my understanding of it...i would suggest that you keep logging in and checking to see if the contest has restarted or not...Vijay will be making a new post to announce this also.
