India Forums : Zip Zap Zoom!! (MUST READ)

Hi Friends,

First of all I am super excited that today our Forum reached the ever highest traffic of 3461 Active Users at a given time and yet it was able to work brilliantly and was pretty stable. So what you think about the speed of India Forums now?

So whats the new change ?

There have been a lot Programming code optimization and a lot of scripts have been rewritten which is why the server now processes the pages really fast. And to really take the real load on the server we have added one more unmetered web server to our Cluster to give you the best uptime and speed.

Update: A few more tweaking with the code and Web Server you would be noticing that the page is loading REALLY FAST


And you will be surprised that India Forums is today one of the fastest growing Indian Discussion forum and now its not just gonna be about Television but we have excellent discussions coming on our Bollywood section and even our General Discussion Forum at http://forum.india-forums.com is doing pretty well.

We have come a long way and have got 1 lakh members so what we are planning to do next and how come NO new features introduced lately 😡?

Well to be honest the Forum slowness was one of the main reason which was holding up a lot of things cause if we would start a competition or anything it would have brought the server to a stand still. Since it is now over (I pray it stays this way 😆) we will soon be adding more and more interesting features and stuff on the forum to make it the BEST site in the world and trust me its a real challenge to keep so many super intelligent members together. 😊



I do see somewhere India Forums Addict #1 for March 2006 (Auto Monitoring ON) banners. What are those?

Since we have now crossed 100,000 members and I am sure we all want to know who is spending the most time on India Forums. So we have developed an application which will be monitoring the system and will keep a log of Members activity. And guess what we are planning to make it a monthly feature where we will be announcing the IF Addict #1 for each month at the beginning of the month. If this is not enough then there is a really Special Gift for that member (We are serious ... No Kidding 😊).

And we will do provide the Top#10 chart of those members regularly so that you can really see whether you are on the list or not.

More interesting stuff in the making... so keep visiting India Forums and yes do not forget to let us know your Comments & Suggestions.

Also, members don't think if you just keep the page open and not do anything, you will be counted...noooooooo it does not work like that😊. You need to be active to be counted.
