i don't think my family would like the No TV day... we have like nothing to talk about/do together without the TV!!! 😆
No SMS/Text day would work... but then what about the family that lives far from you?!😆
We have too much stuff to get addicted to honestly! I agree with what someone above me said, we have so much stuff we can move to... TV to computer to phone to books to ereaders......
Maybe a No Cooking Day for my mom would prolly be the best family time in my family!😆

Hye I wish to state this in connection with No tv day
This is totally unwanted day ...
reasons being
1.Not every family can afford to go to watch films at multiplexes/theatres because of budget constriants
For these watching films on Tv is the best option.
2.Plus there are so many families with grandpa/grandmas and elderly at home. who are not that much mobile .They watch tv as a great good time pass.
.
That way it bonds the family also
.3.and also men and women after working in the entire week at offices or respective work places
They feel relaxed to be at home and watch TV with timings at their own choice and variety of programs to choose from..
4.Children also enjoy watching cartoon channels and other good channels..
5.reg spending time with family and friends
It is totally absurd to think one gets to spend time with family and friends without TV..
Who knows many youngsters may land up in pubs and night clubs to spend time and end up as drunkards drug addicts or ones with obsessive sexual desires because of bad company
which would have far more worse effect on the physical/mental health of the young generation than TV,,
and they wont be knowing our culture at all well.
.It is Tv which highlights our culture in many programs..
We get to know the important news happening around without bias because of Tv
immediately ...
.
so..there is no need for No TV day..
One cannot exercise forced control for long time that too with other ways like laptop/PC/mobile etc.,
It has to come automatically..
Self control is the best option...It would be good if other important poblems are looked into first.
