Hate to say it, but maybe Ruk Jaana Nahin has had its day.

I personally only loved the show for its romantic content, but while that was going along swimmingly i.e. the forced marriage - the moving into each other's room - the fighting over who should switch off the bedroom light - the unforgettable jungle scenes - the jealousy track - the force feeding of the toast crammed with way too much butter - to the inevitable speedy way of declaring Sanchi's love - there were just too many things that I felt just didn't sit right in the show in the wake of these delightful events!

For example, was it necessary to have a murder track and bury the body in the backyard? What messages was it sending out when Indu's Uncle was having a lecherous affair with a woman and cheating on his wife? (Particularly at the time slot it was given); and as soon as love was declared between the pair, what was the need to immediately show Indu in a bad light? It was like he had had a complete personality transformation and he actually took pleasure in lying and cheating on the people that loved and accepted him into his hearts. I am sure many of the fan writers out there, would NEVER have penned this side of Indu in their brilliant stories? I found it all difficult to watch and felt incredibly let down.

The show became strangely dissatisfying and disappointing. I got to the point of being really excited to watching it to not bothering to watch it at all because the entire episode seemed flat and pointless! It stopped being fun ' perhaps that was reflected in the forum too. Many of seemed to stop writing and coming up with new topics to laugh and joke over!

Arguably, the scene between Indu and Tarachand at the close of yesterday's episode was really good and it was good to see Indu displaying some genuine remorse. But the whole thing needs to be played out better. It's like the audience are given a grateful high, and then we are treated badly and given disappointing storylines. After a while it will only grate on us and get incredibly boring. It's an insult to the actors on the show.

Again at a 6:30 slot we are to be informed that Indu mistakenly sells po*n in his video shop. And again I ask, what is the need for this particular angle? Either revise the timeslot or soften the content because it starts to border on downright distasteful after a while.

And if these are the only "shots" the show has got left and they are not giving enough attention to the romance, then maybe the show has come to its end and it's simply running out of ideas. But if it gets desperate enough, perhaps a call to bury another individual in the backyard could help prop up the stats? Hmm who will that be?! Shobha perhaps?!

I apologize profusely for my lack of enthusiasm to keep the show going, but that's only because I am no longer seeing anything that is worth holding onto. I don't mean to upset anyone, remember the forum is our place to voice our ideas. You can disagree or agree if you like.

Perhaps we could suggest things to make the show better? To really honour those brilliant fan writers out there!

As soon as the news of the show going off air (let's face it we've had so many, that I've lost count!) - I guess my mindset began to look on the show as a favourite romantic comedy - one that you would watch over and over again. And as a viewer of any romatic film, there is always that wonderful sense of anticipation - will the pair get together and find happiness? There are so many obstacles in the way - are we going to see our happy ending?

And as the fortunate viewers of RJN, we were eventually invited and blessed with our happy ending! And along this journey, there were countless other amusements - well we all fell in love with a man that had kurtas in every colour of the rainbow - we all enjoyed how his sleeves fit delightfully around his bulging biceps...oh dear...who can forget that shaggy hair of his...ok i'll stop; we enjoyed the feisitiness of the heroine, her path to always do good and show people she means business - and through it all the pair finally got together and made many of us smile the world over!
And that's maybe where the line should have been drawn on the show perhaps - leave it there basking in the sunlight of happiness. We never asked for storylines that somehow leave an audience feeling cheated, agravated and let down. No romantic comedy/film has ever done that to its audience. At the end of every romatic film, we all leave the cinema contented and happy - and thats how I wanna feel about RJN!!

I'm so sorry Rashmi 😭. It's just my point of view is all! You know I love RJN too but I'd be happier if they thought carefully about a coupld of things to make the show more enjoyable to watch! Keep fighting to save it Rashmi! I pray that it pays off - because if it means I get to see Indu walking around in a black vest for a couple of days then I'm all for it!!

As much as I hate to say it, there are a lot of things with which I agree with in your post..

I have to admit that there has always been a lot of things in this show with which I disagreed on (the first thing being how they portrayed the whole divorce scenario and the decision of the judge - I still can't get over the fact that they did that).

Unlike you, I didn't mind the murder track but I did mind the burrying of the body..I felt it gave out a wrong message.
And I do understand your feeling of being let down with the way they have been portraying Indu these days, as I have also felt disappointed by that.

So yes, there are many tracks that I don't like the way they were handled by CVs.

But, I have always overlooked all the things with which I disagreed on, because of INSA..I was just hooked to their unusual love story and quickly got addicted to the show even if I was not here from the start. AD and INSA made it impossible for me to even stop watching the show. I feel everyone here has been emotionaly attached to them and I guess that is why some of us are having a hard time letting go of it...

What I don't agree with however, is what you state about Sada's affair or even the p*rn storyline. I am tired of all the serials with unrealistic storylines and cheesy scenarios..And Sada cheating on Radha is realistic, these things actually happen..and what makes RJN different from other shows is that they actually tried to innovate in storylines that you wouldn't find anywhere else and that were unique...so this is a thing that I feel we can't take away from CVs, no matter how much they have disappointed in other ways.

To be completely honest, I have come to terms with the fact that the show is ending. Every show has to end someday.. I'm sorry that it has to be so soon but I'm grateful that it lasted that long and didn't get axed when its love story hadn't even started.

However, I still want to fight for the show, in the sense of giving it at least until the end of December (as SP had planned in the beginning) or even a slight extension more. Even if we don't get any of it, I still feel we need to fight to show SP that we, fans, care about the show and we are not okay with the way it has been treated or the way we have been treated in regards to the many contradictory e-mails and information that we have been receiving..

Aniruddh and Pooja, as well as the other cast and crew deserve that much, to know that their show was appreciated, their work was loved and that no matter what happens in the end, we are thankful for everything they have given us.
Ok, I think that's all I have to say :)
Oh no wait, I loved this part of your post, it made me smile : as the fortunate viewers of RJN, we were eventually invited and blessed with our happy ending!
