comparing to a similar incident in the past -
During the voting process a similar riot had broken out in the corridors and there Indu had stepped forth and taken action - even saved sanchi at one point. My issue is not that he saved Sanchi then...but rather how he handled it afterwards. He scolded her all right - he scolded her for trying to show off, that inspite of being an ordinary girl was acting like Jhansi ki Rani and that she should not get involved in such things always.

Despite taking out his frustrations on her publicly, the concern he had for her then was EVIDENT then!

On Friday's episode too he scolded her, but this was more belittling in nature. I loved the first example, but didn't like the second instance...

as for AD looking good and lighting up the screen, you're not going to face any opposition there..

I understand where you're coming from; Indu was being quite rude and belittling towards Sanchi. And it was again over a situation and mess she was no way responsible for nor in control over.

But that was exactly Indu's point; Sanchi couldn't control nor handle that situation. He rightly pointed out on her own Sanchi was unable to deal with a bunch of goons, and if she couldn't do that how does she plan on managing the needs and desires of the entire student body?

If she can't even guarantee their physical safety on campus as president, then what good is she in that role?

Also this is exactly the way I want Indu to treat Sanchi now. I'm fed up of her constantly taunting, and insulting him be it in private or public. Especially when he goes out of his way to help her. Every chance she gets Sanchi likes to drum into Indu's head that she does not care for him, nor does she want to maintain any rista with him expect that of competitors/enemies.

Now if Indu as her competitor/enemy takes advantage of the situation to pull her down a few pegs, then what wrong has he done? And that's considering the fact that Sanchi would have done exactly the same, if not worse if the tables were tumed.

I don't want Indu going overboard and creating a deep hatred/disgust for Sanchi in the student's hearts with his words. But if manages to make them doubt her capabilities and cause them to be unsure of having her remain as president, then I say fair play to him. Politics is a dirty game, and Indu did warn Sanchi about this fact beforehand, yet she chose to ignore him. And also if whilst doing all this Indu succeeds in damaging Sanchi's superego and making her realize what her real dreams were i.e. IAS officer, then I'm fully 'Team Indu' all the way.
BTW did anyone else notice that when Indu donned his politician's avatar and demanded to know what the hell was going Sanchi immediately piped up and answered all his questions?! Wow, and she did it without a hint of attitude! Plus when he told all the students to return to class they listened to him! Lol I'm loving the fact that president or not the students still defer to him, and his words carry some authority!

Also I liked how he ensured that Rubina was taken care of, I admit he was very gruff and rough about the situation, but it was the first time we saw him show some concern towards a student on campus!

Contrary to what Sanchi thinks, Indu's a smart guy... if instead of Sanchi, if Prabal was the Prez and this had happened, i think Indu would have insulted him too... so i liked that... him getting competitive... Sanchi deserves it- she could have taken his help long back... its high time she understood that survival in politics (or anywhere really) requires allies... even if ur honest n working for the people...

Bravo Suki, you penned all of my thoughts! I love the authoritive Indu, he has charisma that students can't ignore and I am loving it.
Michelle, I agree Indu is smart but Sanchi thinks that she is Einstein!

One more thing I want to share ...
When students were openly humilating The Dean ... instead of stopping the students ... she was supporting the students . haan sir haan sir lol
Indu was the one who stood up for his guruji . I liked that scene .

still feel that he need not have spoken like that in this instance..

I don't mind Indu belittling Sanchi for all that she's done against him, BUT he should have done it during the numerous instances he COULD HAVE ..he should have talked back/insulted her when she was being an arrogant idiot to him...

Instead, he does something like this when she is not exactly at fault - then, it only makes his fortitude for all these days seem to go to waste...

because, the way Indu's become recently, I started seeing Indu nearly as blameless as he could be (except for the fact that he doesn't work) and this one incident sorta brought him a negative point...
