Twinnie, this is the first time that I disagree! Indu was in full politician form and he was right. Sanchi was fore warned that politics is a dirty game. In fact if it was anyone else, Indu would have done the same. At least with Indu and Prabal around, no one dared to send outsiders. Shukla knew very well that Sanchi wouldn't be able to control the situation and he was bang on! Indu just re-iterated that point! In my opinion of course!

@Namz & Rash lol so true guys, Sanchi does come across as a two-faced character, But personally I think she is just someone who takes advantage of matters to further her own needs. In other words she is just a user.

She is taking advantage of the fact that Indu is latoo over her to ensure that he doesn't scheme against her with his Mamu and Mami. She's taking advantage of Rubina's so far trusting nature to ruin Saru's life. And she took advantage of the Dean's dislike of Indu, to gain his support and aide in defeating Indu during elections.

But note she is one sneaky little minx, as she has never once stated nor pledged any loyalty towards any of them. So that means when their fat is in the fire, like the Dean's was on Friday, she felt no way obligated to help him out. After all she never said she would did she?

@Lashy, I'll admit it makes more sense for Indu to belittle Sanchi when she has done wrong towards him. Such as after the raat akeli sequence, when she got him all hot and bothered for own selfish reasons, or when she ranted at him for stealing the property papers. Also I don't get why he freaked out over her nearly getting punched during the election fiasco, but didn't even blink an eye at her almost being stabbed in front of him?! I mean as he was coming from behind the thug, did he see that he had a knife in his hand? At any rate it's the fact that he seemed least bothered about the threat on Sanchi's life that adds a negative point against him for me.

I still think he was well within his rights to belittle her publicly. As IMO he was only doing what she would have done if the boot was on the other foot. And again it's about damn time she started getting a taste of her own medicine! Like I said though I don't want Indu to go too far, and have her really disgraced or humiliated, but rather he slowly but surely starts knocking her down in the political stakes.

BTW I just re-watched the epi, and noticed that along with defending the Dean, Indu was also laughing with the admin peon as he walked down the stairs. I wonder if Indu is up to something? As it seems to me, he is attempting to get the faculty along with the students on his side against Sanchi! Woo hoo I think Indu is inciting round two in the political war between him and Sanchi...

i guess one of the reasons for this difference of opinion could also be the poor direction from the CVs... they shouldn't have shown Indu being so light-hearted friendly 2 mins ago and then a whole another Indu two mins later...without any proper reasoning or story movement in between...

I don't know why, but I felt good that Indu didn't just simply jump in to save Sanchi! All she does is treat him like a doormat, but on the other hand with Indu and his boys there, I am sure no harm would have befallen her! He seemed genuinely pissed coz he realized that he can't be there to play her bodyguard all the time! Its time Sanchi realized that she should use that so called intelligent brain of hers! They both want divorce now and Indu stated the forced marriage facts in court and he seems to have made peace with the fact that Sanchi doesn't love him!
