I think that is another reason why they are maybe are showing this too. Roop gets accused but so is she. Even if they say they are innocent but innocence is proven, i think more stain on Ishika will be much more then the man - Roop.
Sadly that is how the society works.
I do also wonder how Roop feels about this... even he manages to clear his name and misunderstanding, but the woman is always held questioned. Not forgetting Mota kaka family always taunting.. .your own family
