I agree to an extent. Depends on what show you are watching and character/story
I personally always felt Roop needed someone who challenged him (but understood her beyond who she is overall), and also he needed someone who understood his outlook to society and fight for those rights in equality.
Ishika has that outlook but she is not calm as Roop and is short tempered, and intense at times. But its one of the reason why two people like this can fit in well.
I also notice how are harsh some fans are on female leads being intense & angry then they are on male leads being like that, and i am not just talking about here but pretty much most shows who have this scenerio (i even noticed in the other show i watch and the couple) . I don't know why if a FL does something to a ML, hurt him or insult him, she gets called how wrong she is, this that and some fans not understand her pov. But if its a ML doing the same, he is called being just angry and he has a reason and somehow they understand his pain/pov 😳
