Thanks for making this thread Simran and thanks to all the contributors. I am not great with words or gifs ...
I very rarely watch Hindi serials.. and if I do I mostly give up because of

1) The villains
2) The saas bahu antics
3) The unbelieveable twists and turns
4) The ever suffering heroines
5) The dumb heroes
6) Trip-catch romance
7) Outrageous costumes
8 )Inane song dance routines

RCV has 1 , but then what is a good story without a villain and we have two good ones here ( Poojan who keeps failing and Sudha who is a mastermind !!).

The rest aren't there and that's the draw of this serial. The team has managed to build a story that is layered with characters that are layered ( this is a 1st for Indian TV.. I mean everyone here is gray ) and sustain it without any of the usual gimmicks. That to me is the biggest draw .

They are focusing on the story and telling it well. My only grouse is that it is not getting the promos and TRPs that it deserves !

My favorite scenes so far -- all underplayed

1) Anami discovering Vats
2) Sudha's entry

Congratulations to the team and actors of RKC for delivering and delivering wel!!

Totally agree with @newbiesoapfan, not a regular watcher of TV serials because I cant stand the usual gimmicks followed in desi soaps. But this show is beautiful for so many reasons; each and every character is so well etched and layered, most of them with shades of gray and very relatable, all actors including the side actors are perfectly cast and doing a fabulous job. The 3 women playing Satrupa, Anami and Sudha are powerhouse performers! Vatsalya, Baldev, Narottam and dada/dadiji, even Pujan & co, Adhiraj family, Pandit family,Ladoo and Poonam are beautiful characters/actors.
Kudos to the whole team for brilliant execution!👏

Sharing an edit I made of one of my favorite scenes from the show so far (the others being Anami's breakdown scene with Murari Pathak after knowing about Satrupa, Anami knowing Vatsalya's truth, Vatsalya's death scene, Satrupa threatening Pujan in the car, Satrupa questioning the family for cheating her into marriage, and Sudha's entry.)

Congratulations to the entire team of Rishton Ka Chakravyuh. I've been watching the show from day 1, and am completely impressed by the layered storytelling, the characters, the sets, the styling and the phenomenal acting.
Narayani Shastri is a powerhouse of talent, she owns Satrupa ... Sangeeta Ghosh is brilliant as the evil Sudha ... Devarshi Shah, the boy playing Vatsalya endeared himself to the audience in one short week before Vatsalya was killed, and brings light and warmth to the screen every time he is shown even in flashbacks ... Mahima is amazing for an 18 year old, she plays Anami with so much sincerity. Avtar Gill is amazing as Narottam. Even the child playing Laddoo is brilliant in his role.

The story telling is layered ... so many grey characters, so many layers ... Sudha is evil but even so, you feel for her because she has reason for her vengeance ... Narottam is a character I find fascinating ... he is on the side of evil, but he himself is inherently not so. I am waiting to see his character unfold and evolve. Satrupa is one of the most fascinating characters I have seen on Indian tv. All the characters are well defined and have depth.

Not to forget, the styling of the characters is beautiful ... love Satrupa's and Gayatri's sarees and jewelry ... understated and elegant. Sangeeta's Bengali drape is beautiful and she uses that long loose end over her shoulder to add to her character with her twirls ... great detailing!

Thanks for the story and the character sketches, Athene, mangothyme and shruthi ... great thread!!! 👏

The makers and actors saw our thread. 😲
Echoing a lot of others, I am not a regular serial watcher, but this is one compelling serial. First and foremost, the writers. This story would not be the same without the writers. Second, casting. I can't think of a single cast member I have found lacking. Special mention to these actors who stand out for me.

Devarshi Shah - In just a few episodes as Vatsalya he had such an impact both in acting and charm. Utterly unforgettable. Anami would not have as much impact if Vatsalya was not memorable and he made it so in just a few episodes. Hard to believe he is so young and so good.

Mahima Makwana - Few people can wear the jadhathari braids, the weird clothes and still make it part of the character and not a distraction Anami would not work in the hands of a lesser actress. From the vulnerability of the abandoned girl to the tevar of the LM heir to the determined sister to the conflicted daughter to the moral crusader I have loved and hated the different versions of Anami. But I have consistently admired Mahima for the way she has brought out all the many facets of Anami. Hard to believe she is just 18.

Akash Gill - I have to rewind scenes with Akash because he acts with his whole body. When he says just a few words he infuses them with so much feeling, I feel what Narottam feels. Sometimes it is just his eyes. He makes Narottam so layered and complex because of his acting.

Praneet Bhat - How can you love a villain ? If he is played by Praneet Bhat. From the hen pecked husband who truly loves his wife to the father who is a friend to his son to the villain whose plans don't always succeed Praneet brings so many flavors to Pujan, I can't help but love his character.

Satrupa - Whoever wrote Satrupa's character and the person who cast Narayani Shastri must be given a portion of the profits. What a character and what an actress. I go day after day hating her and loving her, writing essays about her character, trying to understand her. I don't think I have spent this much time on a fictional character. Everything from analyzing the color of her sari to the jewels she wears. Satrupa is complex, layered, unapologetic and grey. I did not know who Narayani Shastri was before this, now I am a fan because of her acting. Her walk, her body language, her expressions have made Satrupa unforgettable.

To the makers, thank you.
