I feel we can blame Sudha for taking the path of revenge and here's my thinking.
She has been wronged by Lal Mahal, but can you really be sure about that? We see one scene from Gayatri's past and assume that she is the one that is wrong, when nothing is as it seems in Lal Mahal. Maybe Gayatri was wrong. But maybe she was right. Maybe Sudha has always been twisted and just appeared to be an innocent in the flashback. But let's assume for a minute that everything is at it seems and Gayatri was wrong. Why is Sudha taking revenge from the kids of Lal Mahal? Why is she using her own son for revenge? Why is she willing to ruin the life of an innocent girl Anami in the process? Why is she fine with taking the life of another innocent life Vatsalya (assuming that she was behind his death)?
Sudha is psychotic for sure, but not in the sense that can be diagnosed. Some people are just born with a twisted mind, with a warped mentality, with no sense of right and wrong. They can be taught all you want, but they don't learn. Sudha, in my view, is one of those people.
Dheeru's revenge is different. If you look at it, he refuses to hurt innocent people. He refuses to use his family. He will willingly back off if any harm comes to Adhiraj or Tania. He won't use Anami to meet his goal. He knows that what he is doing is right and is trying to teach Adhiraj the same thing. Look to his kids. They're upbringing has obviously been good, which means their parents were good and one of their parents is Dheeru.
On the other hand, Sudha was the only influence on Narottam because Lal Mahal obviously hates him, despises him. Sudha could have raised Narottam with love and care. She could have taken him on a similar path as Adhiraj who wants to reach his goal, but doesn't want to hurt innocent people in the process, who has a good sense of justice and truth. But instead Narottam became even more warped. He was hated by Lal Mahal and grown as a weapon by Sudha.
Lal Mahal is at fault for what happened to Sudha, but only she is to blame for the path she has taken.

I quote this here because it shows where Sudha has gone wrong and why I can never sympthatize with her. She choose the wide path. The easy path. The straight path. It walks through people. It walks over people. It crushes the innocent. And there will be an end to it sometime. On the other hand, Dheeru has chosen exactly this narrow and crooked path. He will encounter Pujan, Kamini, pain, and setbacks. It will not be a straight path. But with his family by his side, he will preserver.
