@simran Sudha has fed a story to everyone where she is the victim. But there is more to her for sure

@visa yes Poonam is the only white character and to some extend Tanya at this point.

@usha someone has to reverse the battle and only Satrupa can do it as she knows the history of LM

@twinkle for Satrupa Narotham always reminded her of another woman in her husband's life, something she couldnt approve of. Considering her age at that time it is perfectly human. Now for Anami she has to share the affection with another mother, Sudha is using Anami, so Satrupa is finally realizing only Narotham can help to stop the downfall and he cannot be won with force, he can be won only through love.

@Athene yes I am also scared for Narotham. That chess game was between Narotham and Anami. So it will be between them only. If I remember right in 2 moves Anami had defeated Vikku. Now the file exchange of A&A if I take as second move, with this Vikku have to be out of active participation. then the 5 moves, the critical 5 moves where Narotham switches sides, battle is won is the real game. And in that battle Adhiraj and Satrupa will play the most prominent parts

Sudha's returns to each person seems to be different...to Narotham it is LM's deceit that has to meet justice, to Anami it is family and parivaar, to BD it is all that she lost in 20 years, to Satrupa it is BD, and to Dada it is the right to legal heir and to AR it is a normal girls the relation to family. She is striking the right chord with each one.

@visa sudha knows the achilles heel of each person. She is playing on them. She is a very clever player. Undoing her is no easy task. See every family will have their Sudha, whom a Satrupa will have to deal with. Who does not play by the book and brute confrontation with them only make them more victim in front of the world. If battle has to be won, Satrupa has to become a victim. She has to be the victim. Infact though she doesnt walk around with a sob story she is a victim in many fronts. She has been married to a man who has been already a father to a child. Circumstances forced her to give away one of her child. Then she lost her child to the political drama, she has been fighting battle at many fronts to keep RS afloat. She doesnt have a sob story, she looks strong. But that woman is at the verge of emotional break down. She has to be a victim in front of the world.

The stoic silence and courage of Satrupa is an amazing facade she puts in front of the world. The pistol she puts to her forehead when Vatsalya dies, the reluctance to partake in the Durga puja celebrations, the sleepless pondering in the rocking chair, the night of Sudha's return. The question from Anami who are you to decide if Sudha stays or not are moments when the vulnerable side surfaces. The pain as she walks away from Baldev's side when she sees his silence to Sudha's query about the promise he made was raw pain to the core.

She is in my view too the victim of circumstances wronged by almost all.

Yes vidya she is a victim, but the perception is that she has all the power, because Satrupa fought her battles.

I would think she stood up to take the problem as it surfaced. Be it hidden truths, losing kids or being in a strained relationship. It hardened her resolve yet did not fill her with a need to hit back at those responsible for her pain.

Love this discussion on Satrupa above ... she is becoming my favorite character in the show ... and Narayani Shastri being such an amazing actress helps 😛

I loved both the Satrupa-Narottam scene and the Narottam Sudha scene yesterday ... Satrupa's dialogues to Narottam were perfect ... first she gently taunts him about his mother's words about not letting wounds heal ... 'phir namak bhej dete' ... then while dressing his wounds, describes what happens if wounds are left to fester and bleed ... they can become self-destructive ...

Narottam has already seen that when Sudha gave herself an injury to convince Anami ... now he will see Sudha doing more and more to keep Anami trapped in her web of deceit ... but in doing that, she will open Narottam's eyes to her true nature. And he might begin to see the truth of Satrupa's words ... that Sudha has become self-destructive in her hatred. So far she has made him feel equally victimised ... and the LM people helped her cause by treating him so badly ...

But Anami has defended him out of the goodness of her heart ... and now Satrupa has put salve on his wounds ... and put a doubt into his head as to whether Sudha's way is the right one ... Two people from the enemy's side giving him care and affection ... one very genuine ... the other maybe not so genuine, but as clever as his mother ... will that change Narottam's thinking? Open his eyes to the truth of his mother? And to see Satrupa for what she is ... a strong woman, who stood up to face everything that life threw at her ... deceit in a loveless marriage, the loss of her babies ... and emerged stronger without the self destructive hatred that Sudha has fostered within herself ... and without the need to hurt the weak and innocent in order to punish the guilty.

@Diya yes Narotham has to see his sister's love and care for him, Satrupa may not be 100% genuine as Anami on her approach to Narotham, but he has to see, it was not easy for Satrupa either. Still she has not destroyed everything. She is trying to salvage whatever is left. And if he is with her, he will get the respect as his sister will ensure he gets that.

The chess games were important. With Vikram she took over someone else's battle and won. It appears that has happened because her win means Vikram will really consider her for heir, which even though she brought Sudha, he is.

With Narottam, it was 5 moves and he left thinking he had won, but Anami made the winning move. So in the future it seems that while Narottam will be swayed to her side, he'll think he's won when something major happens and then Anami will make one last move that will bring Narottam to her side. What's key is that they never show us what the 6th move is. Anami just told Narottam that she had won with her last move. So whatever this last move is, it'll be hidden.
