Yes Jhinka Poonam is the most positive and bubbly character of the show. And I agree to you. The three ladies will play a very important role in that budding romance

Can I just say ? I absolutely and completely adore Poonam. She is the best thing that has happened to Anami's supposedly otherwise suffocating and boring life in Lal Mahal.
And the cutie pies - Anami and Adhiraj !! Really, the entire time i had this huge Cheshire grin from one ear all the way across to the other. Their justification was just adorkable to the power of tiffany. And that slight sheepish, acknowledging smile Adhiraj passed Poonam. Aayhaay ! 😆

This is probably the first ever show - wherein it is not the one of the leads who fantasize about a dreamy sequence about the other, but the lead's friend does. Oh and what a sweet romance it was ! Nothing OTT. Just air, petals falling and one of the most iconic romantic songs of all time played along. Two indviduals hand in hand, and at the end, If there is one person Anami completely relies on to pass on their strength ; it is Adhiraj as it is show she finally hold his shoulder in support. Beautifully shot.

Pssh ! By now both of them agree that they are good friends, if not the bond has just gotten stronger. And if Anami and Adhiraj don't question their feelings, i'm pretty sure - Poonam and Tasnya definitely will force them to. 😆

Then moving on - no change whatsoever from Baldev's side. Absolutely nothing influences him. What is this guy made up of ? I wish to see any behaviour remotely resembling a father's - though I guess we have to wait for a long time.

Baldev and Pujan. Truly brothers. Pujan veils his dirty moves and thoughts - and fraudulously bows down to Baldev, seemingly supporting him all the time - ; and Baldev laps up all the attention and support he gets from this fella.

Oh the smashing of the lamp onto his head gave me the chills. Amazing acting there by all - Satrupa and Narottam. Satrupa is on the tether of her patience with this man who has tried to bring harm upon her daughter, and loses it when he goes on to blabber utter illogical nonsense fueling her helplessness and rage in being unable to bring out the answer from him. Narottam has got this weirdly proud smile - of the trust he had in Satrupa and in his mother to expect a nice cover up for it.

Adhiraj and Satrupa. These two are losing their game slowly when it comes to Anami. Neither their exuding power works nor their ego. Both are hell bent on protecting her and in the process are becoming vulnerable to predators who are roaming around, ready to attack at the slightest point of weakness. Hopefully both of them understand soon enough that they would work wonders together, than against. Power of influence, money and tigress of a mother + Force of law, idealisim and metal wall protection to their loved ones. Hmmm - Interesting combination it will turn out to be. 😉

Actually the top 2 are from Dev. It's a show currently airing on Colors. A detective show. Weekends only and a 26-episode finite series.

I was barely into the secondary level of school when Tum Bin released, still remember how my elder cousin sis was totally fida over the songs of this movie.. so much so that I gifted her the original tape cassette containing all the songs and a beautiful J-card containing movie stills (at that time with 256kbps net we hardly had the visual information overload) which seemed like a treasure! 😊
I have this movie in my collection now, and watch it whenever I feel like escaping the complexities of present times. This movie has that power to make you appreciate the simplicity of emotions expressed by the characters- no overtly flamboyant presentation, no outrageous fashion statement, only a story told with heartfelt emotion.

As you said you caught it on a channel, was watching Tum Bin a relatively recent experience? This film is more than 16 years old!

@ammu I read your OS and commented 😃. Actually in A&A they have bought the beautiful romance of SRK days 😆😆 and all songs they are choosing are also his and most importantly him and kajol iconic pairing. I still remember my high school days and college days where we will stand in queue to get tickets of SRK movie, DDLJ, DTPH, K3G, Veer Zaara its endless😆😆

Whenever DDLJ plays in TV, my hubby teases, now dont go near her. She will hear nothing 😆, with this movie she is a gone case😆

Yes they indeed have ! I personally found it cute, that it stuck to a romance sought by poonam - you know , such purely innocent romance with her dreams untouched by the R-rated, sensuous or passionate moods which youngsters nowadays seem to have. 😆 Aww I'm still 18 - so have never experience that simple joys which you all , my parents seem to have blissfully experienced. But yeah still all those movies are eternal and epitome of romance - and is gonna hit the top of our most watched films 😛😉

I watch DDLJ and kuch kuch hota hai and K3 G regularly.every 3 months and also whenever I find it on TV

For Anami it doesnt matter where she is, she is anyways uprooted from her familiar surroundings. But for LM wasis to play their game outside LM is a different ball game.

Hi everyone loving all the discussion here. Still not caught up with the latest episode. But yesterday when Satrupa was asking Narottam and till the AR took A home I was hoping it would just be AR and not Narottam. Not just because that AA have to patch up but after I saw his reaction on hearing the news not an inkling of panic on his face
