I agree with your point and I think it was Dadi who did this, if not Damo. We were clearly shown a lady sitting with a stick and it could be Damo's loyalty for Satrupa, also cos she might have wanted Satrupa's Vatsalya to get everything and not Sudha's Narottam

There must be a reason why she never talks about him or he never thinks about her.

I think this was actually confirmed in an article, which is why we say Sudha is Narottam's mother. In her illness she may have forgotten him or forgotten that she ever had a child and he probably doesn't even know who his real mother is. He just knows that he isn't Satrupa's son.

Sudha is demented and people dont really recollect things. But I also feel that the makers have kept Sudha and Narottam's secret as the last bait and will use it later on in the show. Because Narottam not knowing about him being an illegitimate child is unlikely. Everyone talks about it and over the years, he may have stumbled on the fact as to who his mother is.
