Up until now it seemed as if Sudha was living in her own home and just liked one room, but today it was surprising to see that she's actually in a mental rehabilitation center. It does explain my earlier thinking that she's bipolar or schizophrenic because only this type of a mental illness can explain the extreme mood swings, the extreme anger versus extreme happiness, and the periods of lapses.

But it also explains why Sudha hates Lal Mahal so much that she wants it. Baldev leaving her not only broke her heart, but her mind as well. Now whether he left her on his own choice or by force is a different matter, but it seems that Sudha holds Lal Mahal responsible and wants it to fulfill her dream of being Baldev's wife and Lal Mahal's real bahu.

Sudha is probably the most cryptic of them all. She talks in riddles, her obsession with red and red family members, I find it all so alluring.

Like you said, her mind seems to be broken and I hope it truly is😆 only because I like watching the eerily ness. Even though her mind is broken she isn't. Its like what they say about people who are special. How we look at them and how they look at us.

I can't wait to see how her cards unfold. Both mother and son are the most dangerous players of this game of web.

To add on,

May be Narottam's mother is not dead or unknown, may be Sudha is Narottam's mother and both Baldev and Narottam do not know Sudha's whereabouts they are assuming she is dead.

Irrespective of the above, at one point Narottam and Sudha might come together to own Lal Mahal - this might bring Sudha out of her mental condition.

Anything is possible since Narottam has not been decoded as yet. Sudha just needs her mind back.

I love the sudden twist in story..showing sudha in mental asylam cleares two things-1.Lalmahal is solely responsible for sudha's present state..secondly,may be due to her mental condition,lalamahal wasi were bound to keep narottam with them,afterall they share the same blood.

One more thing sudha knows every new thing happened in lalmahal.there must be someone inside the lalmahal who give her caretaker all the minute details happening inside mahal..so it must be Narottam who is providing them these informations..

@ Bold: I don't know. I have a feeling if Narottam knew about Sudha then he would be more vocal in his anger and his plans to deal with Lal Mahal. The inside person could be a maid at this time or Sudha's caretaker may just be keeping a really good eye on Lal Mahal. I have this really strong feeling that if Narottam knew about Sudha we would also know about it and it wouldn't be hidden like this.

There isn't a single person in this show that doesn't have a past.

Sudha's mental state was very evident from the start but like you mentioned that it looked like she lived in her own house with her maid and the CV's have just thrown a curve ball that in fact no she is in a mental institution. Did she go willingly or not and how she got there is still to be shown...Enigma at its best..

But still I don't get ine thing Y narottam s forced to be a transgender wen he s clearly not OR s he really a transgender?

Narottam isn't a transgender. He was raised to be effeminate. They haven't shown who did this yet.

Nice post Shreya

I am intrigued by Sudha's character and the triangle of Sudha- Baldev - Satrupa is what is the key to the mysteries of Lal Mahal. Narottam has his agendas and it will be interesting to see how he will avenge the wrong dongs against his mother.

I also want to know why Baldev gave up on Sudha? Was it because he fell for her beauty and realised later that she was mentally ill?

Oh its gonna be so interesting
