Khush - I liked your take above! it was very good!! Maybe there is some truth to the fact that the haq belonged to Sudha before it went to Satrupa.

The song connection is also very apt. Its that one song that Satrupa and Vatsalya sing too. There is definitely some connection.

Yes FedEx, am from zkm forum but I no longer follow it.. been flirting with shows for something real.. was happy with Piya albela for sometime until the director changes and ruined tracks..so from a forum perspective, I just became active here today.

Zkm - I visit the forum for friends and to keep in touch with the gals.

Sudha's character is indeed intriguing... and psychotic too. And Sangeeta is playing it brilliantly. The change is expression is really well done.

If she is indeed Narottam's mother, why leave him with the Lal Mahal inhabitants? They definitely would not have welcomed him with open arms.

I'd mentioned in our thread this entire episode is a treat to watch out obviously Sangeeta's entry, but also the mourning scenes of all family members with Vatsalya 👏 Yes, Narayani was fab in that scene...which is why I'm really looking forward to seeing Sudha v/s Satrupa on screen...two powerful actresses facing off.

Word about the close ups ... It's as if the director is trying to show how obsessed this woman is with her sindoor and beauty and RED ! Also liked the distant shots of her humming to hai apna DIL to...I think the director is also trying to highlight the play of expressions on her face, especially her expressive eyes...like the way she'd raise her eyes and say, "Bolo Naina"...lol so enthralling and menacing at the same time😆

I'd say Sangeeta's otherwise sweet looks really help with keeping this different from the typical vamp in shows...she's unhinged but she doesn't have the typical loud looks or makeup of most vamps...she's intriguing to watch.

That song is another connect between Sudha and Satrupa ! Maybe Baldev's song... Yes, there does seem to be a connection with the song and it was brilliantly used in that epi to show the transition from a happy moment b/w Satrupa-Vats to tragedy and then finally this slightly ominous feel in Sudha's scene...

Music seems to be a thread b/w Satrupa-Vats and seems like Sudha is fond of music too...so remains to be seen how the cards unfold.

@bold: Good question...I'm guessing that Narottam may have been snatched away from Sudha deliberately because he was a boy and technically had the blood of the family in his veins...but seeing as he turned out to be less than impressive by their standards, they probably didn't know what to do with him ultimately.

I don't think Sudha deliberately left him at LM...I'm guessing they took him away from her and she holds that against them as well as part of her haq being snatched from her...irony being that even at LM, Narottam remained an outcast...perhaps Sudha reconnected with him once he grew up to use him as a plant inside the house to plot against the family and hollow LM out from within.
