Today's episode just deserved a separate topic and review!

Anami fighting. Bravo girl you've given a new meaning to the word "women power" for Indian TV. I really hope this stays and later on, for TRP, they don't make her into one of those rona dhona FLs. But what I liked best about this scene was that you saw another side of Anami. You would think that being raised in Banaras, Anami would be a sanskari panditayan jiske liye pati bhagwan hai. But today you really saw the way her parents raised her. Fearless, brave, strong, courageous. These are the words that Anami would be described with.

Dadaji and Baldev's face-off revealed a bit into their relation and characters. Dadaji is worried about family name and honour and to preserve the heir seat for the right person. But in Baldev's eyes, he was sidelined because of his son. This really explains Baldev's hatred for Narottam. Even if Narottam is his son, he was disowned because of Narottam's effeminate ways. I also feel that somewhere Dadaji isn't as cunning as he was originally thought to be. He's just a bebas head of family who wants the best for his family, but with old traditions and thoughts. Kehte hain naa: purane khayal ka insaan. That's what Dadaji is.

And then the very next scene you see the reason why Baldev is so far from his wife, Satrupa. Baldev just wants a family, a loving wife, kids, and his elders. He didn't want money, power, or anything else. But in the end he got nothing. And that's made him into this stone-hearted man. But somewhere, deep underneath that facade, his heart pines and it came out on his face. Bravo to Ajay Chaudhary for taking up such a role.

This scene also revealed why Satrupa gave up Anami. I didn't even have to wait until the Guruji scene. Satrupa wants money, power, and position. And in our Indian society, only a son can get you that unfortunately. So when Satrupa had twins, she did what she had been taught and knew to be true. She gave up the daughter in return for her son. Note I say the daughter. For Satrupa Anami isn't really her daughter, but more a step to get what she wants.

Guruji is clever. Satrupa thought she could get away by playing the mahaan card and suggesting that Guruji was at fault, but at the end of the day he was right. He said there's a Kaal that would kill that kid who stayed in the house and that's exactly what happened. There's a reason he said to send away the first-born. Now Satrupa will have to bring back the daughter that she didn't love enough and prove to her that she did love her enough. This is a good chakravyuh in itself. Because if Satrupa tells Anami everything then Anami will know that she was second to Satrupa's love. And if she hides this fact and Anami finds out later, then it'll make Anami hate her even more.

What was really interesting in this scene is that Guruji knew about Murari Pathak. I kept wondering how Damo found Murari, but she didn't. This actually made me think that Guruji had always planned on one kid being sent away with Murari. Just imagine if Vatsalya had been raised by Murari and Anami by Satrupa.

Adhiraj (or at least the actor playing Adhiraj) really needs to buck up on his acting skills. The scene in the bar required intensity and a proper drunken stupor and he wasn't really able to master either. Though the intensity is better than when he first entered.

The locking of Vatsalya's room was more symbolic than can be thought. First it suggests that Satrupa wants to keep everything as is for Vatsalya suggesting that he may be alive. Second it shows that Satrupa doesn't want Anami to know about Vatsalya, at least not until the time is right. She's going to bring Anami back and possibly play a game that she didn't even know that she had Anami until recently. Third it suggests that Vatsalya is still key to this chakravyuh. As if he's the key to unlock the chakravyuh, hence he's being protected and safely locked away until the time is right. Maybe I'm reading too much, but that's what I felt. Oh and I must add that the photo of him wearing glasses was damn cute.

Hi shreya, Nicely written analysis as usual... 😃
Hope CVs don't butcher Anami's character to damsel in distress for TRPs.. Liked the fight scene.. It was beautifully executed by Mahima 👏..Indian telly should focus more on women empowerment rather than making women's cry over one or the other things...

Dada ji is in need of merely a heir to passover the families wealth nothing else, on the other hand Satrupa who wants to be powerfull, strong, the decision maker... No wonder Baldeve, whose longings for love, affection, care opened his heart for sudha😳.resulting in Narottam who is effeminate and... again Baldeve was kept detached for dat ..

Guruji's visions are really perfect and he told to give away the first born, but the power, money, greedy satrupa (am sorry, I dono what exactly to describe her) ditched her baby gal... Yaa I agree satrupa is doing all this for her child BABY BOY Vatsalya, and not for herself or anything else... It obvious from sterdays episode dat she preferred Baby boy over baby gal 🤢

The first born was Vatsalya whom Guruji asked to gave away(protection) Satrupa chosen her second born baby girl to sway away... In the due course she saved Anami and rooted for vatsalya's terrific end... Hope he stays alive and returns as a super hero..

I don't want Anami to give up on her mother easily, until satrupa longs for Anami's love and feels guilty for her action of choosing boy(1st born) over gal (2nd born) to be with her...

As for us my concern, Vatsalya's death isn't natural but the other way round, that definitely needs an investigation to bring the killers forth.,the cop Adhiraj is needed but request to the creators please don't make this show as a "love ka chakravug" by locking him with Anami... It's purely MOM -DAUGHTER ka story maintain as such... It's fantastic with story unravelling..

Regarding vatsalya's room being closed for eternity,(as of now), may be they wanted to show how strong satrupa emotionally is...!!!(as she is not mourning over her death son like anyothers)

I wonder how satrupa is gonna reveal her twin baby matter to the whole family?? Will dat b easy for them to accept this huge revelation????!!!

Waiting for today's episode

Anami's character sketch in itself breaks the stereotypes of FLs of TV shows just like she and her brother are trying to break superstitious beliefs in their town.

It was surprising to know that Vatsalya was the actual sibling who was supposed to be given away and not Anami. Satrupa decides to keep the boy and give away the girl so that she can have the male heir. While Guruji was right that Satrupa kept the boy for her ambition but I'm not able to agree with the Guruji's thinking that one of the child had to be given away due to a foretelling. It was completely unfair to ask the mother to give away one of her child in the first place. This kind of superstitious thinking seems to be what Anami is vehemently fighting against in her day-to-day life.

@Stephy,
Yaa, agree wid u...

It's completely disquiet dat ppl are still believing ridiculous things that are nowhere related to them

1)Superstitious beliefs (All happenings are especially because of karma not of dis unfounded credulity)

2)People preferring boy over gal (Like satrupa did)

3)Killing children/others cos of greediness (for empowering oneself who doesn't fit in)

These things needs to be changed for a better humankind... 😕

Spot on analysis!! I am so desperate to see Anami's reaction on meeting her mother.
The other thing i felt - Is Narottam really effeminate? or is he just brought up that way for some reason(may be because of Baldev's extra marital relation)?

@ Stephy: I tried not to comment on this superstitious beliefs because that would just open up a whole can of worms that I don't want to open up, but since you've brought it up I agree. Guruji makes a bhavishvayani and tells Satrupa to give away the first born to save his/her life. Then he suggests that the second born will die and that's why she has to give away her child. Like seriously?!! What type of Guruji is this that he can predict what will happen years down the line. And my bigger issue is the role he'll play now. It seems like he's all-seeing. Is he God? And what will he say he knew about in the future?

@ sweetzzz: That's an interesting theory that maybe Narottam was purposefully raised that way. But I have my doubts. Given that he was raised by the maids, they would have no gain by raising him that way. Unless they were directed by someone, but everyone in the family despises him and I don't think they would take that much time out to do something like that. The only one who can do that is Pujan, but would he have had enough foresight to think that Narottam could have been made heir? Again I doubt it because Baldev was disowned due to Narottam so that he couldn't become heir. That left Pujan or Vatsalya for heir. And until Vatsalya turned 17, Pujan had assumed that he would be made heir. Of course it would be a nice twist if someone in the family actually did raise Narottam to be effeminate.

I don't know how she'll reveal it, but after the revelation into Baldev's character, I really hope the CVs show him accepting his daughter first and the father-daughter duo bonding before Anami accepts anyone else. It would be a sweet gesture and it would crumble this stone-hearted facade that Baldev has as he becomes a loving father once again just like he was with Vatsalya.

An even more awesome twist would be if Baldev is the one that knows Vatsalya is alive and did everything to teach Satrupa a lesson. And Vatsalya was in on the act with Baldev. Damn man that would be like sone pe suhaga! (Of course that's assuming that Vatsalya is actually alive.)

@ Athene, i had my doubts because in the episode where Vatsalya was introduced to the world, i think the little boy who came out was Narottam, and Anju ji(don't know her character name) signs the maid to take him away. Could be dadi has her share in bringing up Narottam too 😕

It is sach mein Rishton ka Chakravyuh
