Ratan takes the keys of his jeep, to go and meet Diya..

Ratan- jee kaakimasaa...
Kakimasaa- dekhiye na, hum to bhool hi rahen sain ki, ab se hume aapko datahukum bulaana sae.. Par Aap ab iss waqt kaha jaa rahen sain.. Abhi to rajtilak hua sae, aapka.. Aur itni jaldi, aap bahar kahan chal diye? Dekhiye shaam hone waali sae..
Ratan- Kuch bahut zaroori kaam hai, kaakimasaa... Jaana padega..
Kakimasaa- Aap baad mein chele jaaiyega, datahukum.. Aapko abhi aaram ki zaroorat sae..
Ratan- Nahin kaakimasaa... Agar maine der kar di, to bahut gadbad ho jaayegi.. Yun samajh lijiye ki, apni life ka sabse important kaam karne jaa raha hun..
Kaakimasaa- Aisa kya kaam sae, aapko?
Yash comes and tells- Datahukum, apni biwi ke paas jaa rahen hain, Daadisaa... Kesar mahal ki thaakraani ko waapis lene jaa rahen hain, yen... Unko aashirwaad de dijiye..
Kaakimasaa- Arey, yeh to bahut achchi khabar sae. Humne diya baisaa, humara matlab, diya thakranisaa ko samjhaane ki bahut koshish kari, par unhone kisi ki koni suni.. Aap to jaante hain, agar woh koi zidd kar le, ya kuch thaan len, to kisi ki koni sune.. Ab aap hi ko unhe samjhaana hoga, datahukum.. Agar aapki ki shaadi tooti, to iska bahut bura asar padega, aap par, humare pariwaar ki izzat par.. Ek datahukum, kabhi apni shaadi ko tootene nahi de saken, ya apni biwi ko chod saken.. Yeh niyam ke khilaaf sae
Ratan- Kya kahna chahti hain aap.. Zara detail mein samjhaaiye na, kaakimasaa..
Kaakimasaa- Dekhiye datahukum, ek datahukum, sabhi ke liye ek udaahran ke samaan howe sain.. Sabhi log, unn par umeeden lagaawe sain.. Agar unki hi shaadi toot jaawegi to, woh baaki sabhi logo ke nazaron mein buri tarah gir jaavenge.. Isliye, yeh niyam banaya gaya hai ki, agar shaadi tootne mein, datahukum ki galti hove, to datakukum ko apni padwi (title) khoni padegi.. Unhe apni datahukumiyat khoni padegi.. Par agar, rishta tootne mein, thakraanisaa ki galti hove, to datahukum ko apna auhda (title) nahin khona padega.. Aur dekhiye na hume koni pata, ki agar aap dono ka yeh rishta toot gaya, to aap dono mein kiski galti sae..
Ratan- Oh wow, kaakimasaa... Aap ko nahin pata, aapne abhi kya kaha... Thank u, thank u so much... Ab main chala, diya se milne..
Kaakimasaa and Yash cudnt understand what idea ratan had got and why he felt so confident of bringing diya back... But both were happy to see Ratan making efforts to bring diya back..
Ratan reaches police guest house.. He had been waiting for so many years, to see diya.. He was really very happy and excited..But he was little nervous as well... He rings the door bell. As soon as diya opens the door, power goes off.. It becomes dark and without seeing who was standing on the door, she turns back .. She goes near the window pane.. She pulls the curtain back and opens the glass window, to get some sunlight.. Though sunrays were not that bright as it was almost 6 o'clock in d evening, but it still provided some visibility in the room.. As soon as Diya thinks of turning back to look who had come, she feels her heartbeat rising.. She gets some strange feeling within.. She felt a strong anxiety within her heart.. She felt as if Ratan is here.. She cud sense his presence around.. Slowly, she turns around.. And there, she finds him standing, outside the door.. She cudnot believe her eyes.. She had been waiting for so long, to see Ratan.. And Now, her wait was over.. He was standing in front of her, just few feet away.. Their eyes meet and they feel the spark between their hearts. Sight of Ratan caused Diya's heart to beat even faster. Ratan too was as eager to meet her as she was for him.. He was so desperate to see her.. Dimness of the room cudnt hide her beauty from him and Ratan just froze seeing her.. She still was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.
Seeing Ratan, her husband in front of her eyes after so many years, diya just forgot everything about divorce and all. Her beautiful eyes softened with tears. She cudnt control herself and she runs forward to hug him.. Ratan too had been waiting to hug her.. He hugs her back and tightenes his embrace around her.. Diya is feeling so relieved, so happy in Ratan's arms that she cudnt control her tears, tears of immense joy.. She was literally melting in his arms.. Ratan was also so much relaxed, with the feel of diya near him.. He was able to clealy sense her scent, fragrance of her hair and feel her soft skin.. Both were just lost in that moment that they fogot why both of them were here. Diya forgot that she was in guest house bcoz she had left kesar mahal. Ratan forgot that he was here to convince Diya.. After Diya comes back to her senses, she pulls herself back.. She feels embarrassed by her move to hug Ratan.. Ratan felt so good to have Diya in his arms, he actually wanted that hug to last longer..

Diya steps back from ratan. Both are silent for some time.. Ratan just couldn't get enough of watching her.
She still looked as beautiful as the first time he saw her in Bikaner 12 years also. She looked so pretty that he cud feel his breath catch. Her big, dark, lusterous eyes, her long hair, her graceful facial features were making ratan go weak at his knees. She was Ratan's dream that has become reality, today. She was a perfect constellation of beauty and talent. She looked so lovely, so elegant that he was afraid he'd forget what he wanted to say to her. And Ratan's admiring look was making diya nervous. Then, diya gathers some courage to ask ratan- Ratan, aap yahan?
Ratan- Diya, mujhe aapse baat karni hai..
Diya- aap, andar aaiye..
Diya comes inside.. Ratan takes a deep breath and follows her in the room. As soon as both enter the room, power comes back.
Diya- Ratan, aap baithiye na... Ratan sits on chair.. Diya prefers to stand near the corner table.. Ratan- Diya, aap bhi baithiye na.. Diya- nahin, hum theek hain.. Waise, Many more happy returns of the day, Ratan..Ratan- Thank you Diya..
Ratan is looking at Diya with so much love, then suddenly he finds a bandage on Diya's arm.. He gets very worried to see that.. He gets up and goes near Diya. He lifts diya's arm to check wat happened..
Ratan- Diya, yeh kya hua aapko? Yeh bandage? Kaise hua yeh? Bataaiye mujhe? Diya- Woh aap ke attackers ko pakadne ke samay, ek bullet lag gayi thi hume.. par ab hum theek hain..
Ratan- bullet lagi aapko? Aur aapne yeh baat, mujhe inform karna bhi zaroori nahin samjha? He asks angrily.. Diya- nahin, sirf paas se nikal gayi bullet, isliye zyada gahraa ghaav nahin hua.. Ab theek hain hum..
Ratan- r u sure, u r fine now..? Diya- haan, hum ab theek hain..
She pulls her arm off his hand's grip. She finds a bandange on ratan's hand as well. She gets worried too, to see that. Diya- Ratan, yeh aapke haath par kya hua? Yeh bandage kyun? Ratan- ek zara se chot lagi thi, I had hit something.. but, ab theek hai..
Diya- oh.. To bataaiye, aap kaise hain, London mein sab theek raha? Ratan- aap hi bataaiye, kaisa hounga main? Diya moves little away fron Ratan and says- Ratan, aap achche hi honge.. aisa kyu pooch rahen hain aap? Ratan- Haan, main achcha hounga.. Aapke bina? Kyun sahi kaha maine? Bataaiye?
He is staring at diya.. Diya doent know wat to say for that.. she is feeling little nervous.. Ratan is looking in diya's eyes. His eyes are seeking the answer to his question.. Ratan's stare and his questions are making Diya a little tense.. She is avoiding looking at ratan.. She starts darting her eyes at different things on the table and starts arranging things which were already arranged.
Ratan- main aapse kuch pooch rahan hun, diya.. answer me..
Diya- haan, Ratan.. aap.. aap humse dur, khush hi rahenge.. Ratan- aisa kaise kah sakti hain aap..?
Diya's eyes get teary- kyunki... kyunki humne dekha tha aapko.. London mein.. Jahan aapke dost aapko, aapki shaadi ke liye chidha rahe they, aapka mazaak bana rahe they.. Aapki biwi aapse, umar mein, 9 saal badi hai, iss baat par aapki haasi udaa rahe they.. Aur aapne unhe kuch nahin bola.. Ratan moves closer to Diya.. He hold her one hand and says- Diya, mere aankhon mein dekhiye.. Kya aapko meri aankhon mein, humaari shaadi ke liye, humare rishte ke liye, zara bhi sharmindagi dikhayi de rahi hai..?
Diya is still not looking into ratan's eyes. She is still crying thinking about that night club episode. Ratan lifts diya's chin and make her gaze meet his... Diya looks into ratan's dark eyes, which expressed immense respect and pride for their bonding, their relationship,...their marriage. Diya cudnet see any sign of regret or shame in his expressive dark eyes.. Ratan actually looked very proud.. But diya is not able to get the memories of that night, out from her mind. She turns her face to another side.
Diya- Agar aisa hai to, Ratan.. jab aapke frens aapki shaadi ka mazaak bana rahe to, aapne kuch kyu nahin bola? Aap wahan chup kyun they?
Ratan- Diya, agar mujhe aapni shaadi se, aap se, sharmindagi hoti, to main kabhi bhi apne dosto ko humaari shaadi ke baare mein nahin batata.. Maine kabhi bhi apne frens se yeh sachchayi nahin chupaayi.. Aur, na hi kabhi kisi se chupaaunga.. Mere liye humara rishta kabhi bhi, sharm ki baat nahi tha.. Infact I feel lucky to have u in my life, as my partner Mere collegemates mein ,kafi log mere married status ke baare main jaante hain.. Aur mere sabhi kareebi dost, bahut achche se jaante hain, ki aap mere liye kya hain. Aap kitni important hain, mere liye. Yeh jaante hain woh. Uss raat, jis bande ne woh sab bakwaas kahi, woh mera achcha dost nahin tha, main uss-se zyada baat nahin karta.. He was so drunk that night, I thought may be he just didn't think before saying anything, also I didn't want to give any explanation to someone who doesn't even matter to me..I didn't want to create any scene over there.. So I preferred to stay quiet for 1 min or so.. Shayad aap ne bhi wahi dekha, aur uske baad aap chali gayi.. Par jab usne apni hadd fir se paar ki, to mujhse nahin raha gaya.. I just cudnt control myself and I hit him.. May be I had hit him really hard bcoz his nose and cheek bones got fractured.. Aur yeh jo aap mere haath par lagi chot ke baare mein pooch rahin thi, yeh chot tabhi lagi thi..
Then, on the table, Ratan finds the envelope of the letter, he had written to Diya fews days back.. He finds that Diya hasn't opened the envelope till now..
Ratan- Diya, aapko meri baat par vishwaas nahin hai? Theek hai, chaliye yeh envelope kholiye.. Diya- par abhi kyun? Ratan- kyunki, issme usska naam likhe tha, jo mujhe apne birthday par chaahiye.. Aap humesha mujhe woh deti hain, jiski main maang karta hun.. Right? Kholiye isse, aur padhiye iss letter mein maine aapse kya maanga hai..
Diya doesnt seem interested in knowing wats in letter, as now, Ratan can have watever he wants, he is Datahukum of Surajdagh now. Ratan pick up the envelope and takes out the letter..Ratan shows the letter to diya.
She is surprised to see only one word in the letter.. DIYA..
Ratan- Diya, mujhe sirf aap chaahiye.. Mere Dil, sirf aapko maangta hai.. Kya aap mujhe mera yeh birthday gift dengi? Boliye? Diya doesn't know wat to say.. Ratan- Diya, mujhe aapse, aap se jude rishtey par kabhi koi sharmindagi nahin hui..
Diya now feels apologetic. Her eyes are downcast now.. She feels, she shud have trusted Ratan, she shudnt have left from London like that and she shud have atleast spoken to Ratan before leaving..
Ratan- Diya, aap mere liye sabse important hain.. U matter the most to me.. Aapse badhkar mere liye koi nahin.. Diya- Hum maante hain ki humaari galti hai, Hume wahan se aise waapis nahin aana chaahiye tha, aapse bina mile.. Par iss baat ko koi nahin jhuthla sakta ki, hum aapse poore 9 saal bade hain.. Aur yeh rishta bemail hai..
Ratan- Diya, agar aap umar ki hi baat kar rahin hain to, mujhe baatiye ki, kya sabhi hum-umar logo ki shaadi khush-haal hoti hai.. Similar age waale log, kabhi alag nahin hue aaj tak? Diya, Aisa nahin hai.. Age is just a number, u cant predict the compatibility, just on the basis of age.. Diya- Haan, hum maante hain ki sabhi hum-umar logo ki shaadi safal nahin hoti. Par Ratan, aap mein aur humaare beech, poore 9 saal ka fark hai.. Aur yeh fark bahut zyada hai.. Hum dono ki soch, rahan sahan, humara nazariya.. Sab mein bahut farak aa chukka hai ab.. Inn sab ki wazah se, aur 9 saalon ke umar ke lambe faasle ki wajah se, Humaari shaadi mein daraar to aani hi hai, aaj nahin to baad mein.. Ratan- main aisa nahin sochta, Diya..
Diya Kya aap bhool gayen hain, nithya buasa aur Ajay fufasaa ke rishta ka sach.. Unn dono ki umar mein to sirf 3 saal ka farak tha.. Aur dekhiye na, unn ka rishta bhi toot gaya, sirf umar ke faasle ki wajah se.. Ajay fufasaa, nithya buasa ko chod kar chale gaye, kisi aur ke liye.. Nitya buasa, apne pati se sirf 3 saal badi thi.. Aur hum to aapse 9 saal bade hai.. Aur yeh farak bahut zyada hai, ratan..
Ratan holds her shoulders and says- Diya, aap nithya buasaa nahin hain, aur na hi main ajay fufusaa.. Hum dono alag hain.. Humara rishta, humaari dosti, humaari bonding alag hai.. Main aapko yakeen dilataa hun, ki main aapko kabhi bhi chod kar nahin jaaunga.. Aapka saath hamesha dunga. Trust me diya, I will never leave u..
But His reassurance is not able to convince her. She is still not able to forget wat his fren said in that night club and wat happened with nithya buasa..
Ratan- Diya, aapne jab mujhe London jaane ke liye kaha tha, uss waqt main bilkul bhi, aapko chod kar jaana nahin chaahta tha.. Aapse dur nahin hona chaahta tha.. Par sirf isliye main aapki baat manaa, kyunki agar main London chala jaaunga, to atleast aapke dil se meri safety ki chinta thodi kam ho jaayegi.. Aapko jo har pal, meri safety ki tension rahti thi, woh thodi kam ho jaayegi.. sirf isliye main aapki baat manaa.. Main hi jaanta hun, ki maine wahan aapko kitna miss kiya.. U were in my thoughts, every single day, every single second.. Aapke liye jo respect thi mere mann mein, jo meri liking thi aapke liye, woh bas badhti hi gayi, with time.. Pehle mujhe nahin pata tha ki, pyar kya hota hai. Par haan, jitna main jaanta hun, jitna main samjhta hun, pyar ke baare mein, Mujhe woh pyaar sirf aapse hai, diya..
Diya just froze to hear this.. She had waited for so long, to hear this..
Ratan- Haan diya.. Main aur mera yeh dil, aapke liye ek alag ehaash feel karta hai, and I know this is love... Jo main itne saalon se aapke liye feel karta aaya hun, aapse bina mile, yeh feelings pyar ki hain, Diya.. Aur yun kisi aur ke kuch bhi kahne se, Main, apne pyar ko, apni patni ko khud se alag nahin hone dunga.. Mera pyar, humara rishta, ek mauka to desrve karta hai, Diya..
Diya is not saying anything..
Ratan- Atleast one chance.. and U cant deny this.. Just bcoz few people think that our relationship wont work, u cant separate from me.. Diya, log to kuch na kuch kahenge.. Unka kaam hai kahna..
Diya- haan, jo baat sahi nahi hai, log uske baare mein kuch na kuch to kahte hi rahenge.. Aur humaare case mein, logon ki baaten zindagi bhar chalegi.. Ratan- Diya, aap kabse doorse logon ke baare mein itna sochne lag gayin.. Apne baare mien nahin sochengi aap? Mere baare mein nahin sochengi aap? Diya, aap plz samjhne ki koshish keejiye..
Diya- hume kuch nahin samjhna..
Ratan- diya, Kya main khud ko prove karne ka, ek mauka bhi deserve nahin karta? Sirf do mahine de dijiye mujhe.. Sirf do mahine ke liye aap, mere saath waapis aa jaaiye, kesar mahal. Agar uske baad bhi aapko lage ki, dusre logon ki soch hi sahi hai, to main aapke diye divorce papers par sign kar dunga.. Aur agar mera vishwaas, mera pyar sahi saabit hua, to aapko zindagi bhar mere saath rahna hoga.. Kahiye kya aapko manzoor hai? Diya hume aapki koi baat manzoor nahin hai..
Ratan had tried being patient with her. He was trying really very hard to convice her. He was keeping calm as he didn't want to lose her bcoz that will be the last thing he wud want. But by now, Ratan has started losing his temper. He knows very well, how stubborn is diya.. If she decides on something, then its really very tough task to make her change her mind.. But Ratan is also very headstrong guy. He will definitely finish the work he had come for, i.e. take diya back with him..
Ratan- to theek hai, aap itni asaani se nahin maan-ne waali.. Then, I m left with only one choice.. Diya- kaisi choice? Ratan- I have become datahukum, you know, Right? And now I will have to surrender my title of datahukum' bcoz of u.. Diya- par kyun?
Ratan- Diya, kyunki datahukum apni shaadi nahin tod sakte.. Agar unki shaadi toot-ti hai, aur agar shaadi tootne mein, datahukum ki galti ho, to unhe apni datahukumiyat chodni padti hai.. Aap yeh nahin jaanti? Diya- Hum nahin jaante.. Par humara rishta tootne mein aapki koi galti nahin hai..
Ratan- yeh to aap kah rahi hain, main to aisa nahin kahunga.. Main to sab ko bol dunga, ki mera London mein kisi ke saath extramarital affair chal raha tha, aur issi wajah se main Diya se alag hona chahta hun aur humara yeh rishta bhi todna chahta hun.. Diya- aap aisa jhoot nahin bolenge.. Rishta to hum, tod rahen hain.. Isme aapki koi galti nahin hain..
Ratan- par diya, jab main itna solid reason dunga, to sab meri hi baat maanenge na.. Aur uss hisaab se meri galti ki sazaa bhi mujhe milegi- Mujhe apna datahukum ka title khona hoga.. Diya- aap aisa kuch nahin karenge..
Ratan- aapne mere liye, aur koi choice nahin chodi hai, Diya.. Agar aap mere saath waapis jaane ke liye nahin maani to, mujhe aise hi karna padega.. Diya- hum aapke saath waapis nahin jaayenge..
Ratan- to theek hai, Main abhi jaa ke sabko bata deta hun, apne extramarital affair ke baare mein, aur apna title bhi surrender kar deta hun.. He is sure that his plan will work. In his mind, he prays to god that Diya shud stop him from leaving.. As soon as he turns around to leave, diya stops him..
Diya- Rukiye.. Aapko kisi se kuch jhooth Kahne ki zaroorat nahin.. Hume aapki baat manzoor hai.. Par sirf 2 mahine.. Uske baad, hume sab ko bataa denge ki iss rishte ke tootne ki wazah hum hain, aur aapko apna datahukum ka title chodne ki zaroorat nahin padegi.. Ratan- oh great.. Thank you Diya, for my birthday Gift... 2 months are enough for me.. I will win my wife back in 2 months.. Diya- kya? Ratan- nahin kuch nahin... To aap ready ho jaaiye, mere saath chalne ke liye.. Diya- hummm...
Ratan cud not belive that he cud actually convince diya somehow to return to kesar mahal..
Ratan (in his mind)- Diya, inn 2 mahino mein, main,aapko itna pyaar dunga ki, aap zindagi bhar mere saath hi rehna ka faisla kar lengi..
Diya (in her mind)- Ratan, inn 2 mahino mein, hum, aapko itna pareshaan aur irritate kar denge, ki aap khud hume apni zindgai se baahar nikaalne ka faisla kar lenge..
