i didnt find the episode boring at all. in fact i was very impressed with the way they kept the theme of 'matchmaking' alive in the flashback. rohan and isha's chemistry really shone through in this episode. as far as 'food for thought' is concerned, a couple of things that struck me. i think they what they wanted to show in this episode was how in college it is always about popularity and image rather than substance. gaurav asked gunjan to the prom only because he thought that rohan was taking her to the prom. gunjan ditched cyrus for gaurav because gaurav was like a trophy for her. we do things like that in life, don't we? we feel attracted to certain people or certain things only because other people are attracted to them. the attraction is not real. it comes from a place of seeking validation from others. also, husaifa's story with the professor was nice. i really liked the dialogue - Sir, project toh padhne ke baad hi pataa chalaa na, kitna acchhaa hai. as rrk401 pointed out, in life we spend way too much time second guessing situations and wallowing in our insecurities instead of going ahead and seizing the moment.

Oh yes, that was one of the highlights for me. It was so funny to watch that Dhruv was the one inviting Rohan to parties and then encouraging him that there would be girls there 😆 You can totally see how they used to party together and all before Dhruv became more spiritual :P

And guys though there wasn't any coffee this time round, there was at least Milkshakes! 😆..Rmb Isha offering Huzeifa some, in a glass with a straw..? 😆

There was milkshake and alcohol, offered many a times by Rohan 😆 Isha's stern denial every time that she doesn't drink made me laugh, because remember that episode where all four of them are out to a club and Isha, slightly drunk, keeps on telling them that it's 'friendship time, let's be friends!' I guess Rohan turned her somewhere down the road 😆

Hmmm'Wow. I'm kinda the opposite! I really liked the episode, although maybe not my favourite one but definitely didn't hate it or find it boring. Risha + boring = nonexistent! I thought they showed Rohan and Isha to be friends in a way that they knew each other pretty well. They knew quite a lot of things about each other's lives (i.e. the way Rohan asks about her boyfriend means they know personal things about each other. I wouldn't tell things about my boyfriend to anyone but a good friend). The fact that he gave up his date with the hot Alisha proves he really cared about her and they were really close. So I assumed that they were really good, yet unconventional friends.

About the Gaurav-Isha thing. I do agree here slightly. I think they should have showed at least one scene with the two.

I really hope Alisha comes back to Rishta.com to find a mate and ends up telling Isha about Rohan. That would be awesome.

The episode was predictable but I think they way they present the story makes it awesome nevertheless. I knew Gunjan would realize her mistake and Isha-Roshan would end up going to prom together. I wish Isha saw her ex-boyfriend with another girl. It was really sweet how Rohan protected

her from yet another painful experience.

I also missed Ruchika and Sally a lot. And the whole office setting too. But they were sitting in the canteen together, like they normally sit in the coffee machine area. I actually liked Isha's hairstyle. I found it cute. I love bobs and pixie cuts but they could have added a little more of bangs. The hair clips were super cute though!

All in all, I liked the episode but do want the next one to be back in the office!

yeah me 2
whaat i didnt like was Isha's hairstyle🤢

I have really mixed feelings about this episode. Every time Shruti and Kavi mentioned episode 20, I assumed that this episode was going to be all about something BIG happening in RoSha's relationship...sadly nothing of that sort happened. I loved the way they showed Rohan and Isha's friendship, a little more subtle than what they are in the office, sure they still talk the same and act the same, I just felt it was a bit more immature keeping in pace with the environment in the college. Her hairstyle annoyed the hell outta me, I'm not a fan of short hair, so I can't stand it *erm* But I liked Rohan's look, he looked suave *grins* As for Huzaifa, I loved his messed up hair and cute t-shirts 😆 Gaurav on the other hand *ahem* I like much better in the current episodes, the whole grungy look haired look annoyed me, it was like bleh to me 😛

I think the whole part of Isha and Rohan wanting to set up Gunjan with Huzaifa and then Cyrus was really well done, because it showed their connection as 'partners'. They both knew how to react to each other and that showed their relationship really well in my mind.

I didn't think the whole Huzaifa angle was necessary with Miss. Sengupta and whatever his name was, I found it a bit too, dare I say it? Boring. I liked it obviously after when Huzaifa got what he wanted, but then then he confessed and idk it just didn't click with me.

Alisha Singh, I liked that bit and the way it kinda tied in with Gaurav/Gunjan and Isha-Rohan. The way Gaurav assumed Gunjan was being taken by Rohan and that prompting him to ask her out, showed how stupid rivalry really can be *shakes head* I'm glad Rohan took Isha though, that stupid boyfriend of hers really annoyed me.

Also I have to say that was kinda nice to see that Isha had a boyfriend in college. I've always assumed Isha was the type that never had anybody in her life and that made her the way she is now, but it was nice to see that that's not actually true, and that she did have someone, (who didn't appreciate her but still) she had someone.

All in all, I felt the flashback episode was given to give us an insight on the characters, show more about how they came together and it did that perfectly.

I missed Ruchika the most, but it makes sense that she wasn't in their college, didn't she come
from another city? 😕 I think, but I missed the fun interaction she has with all the characters.

i agree it was predictable from head to toe but i think it was necessary for us to show how did this happen.

the only part i thought was lil candid was when isha broke up with his bf
she was sad n den she says i had even got the dress for the prom??
WHAT?? u r worrying bou d dress n when rohan asks bou d suit she says tumhe suit ki pari hai??
then i was like u r also worryin bou d dress .n den whole thing bou going to prom. i mean that deosnt happen in real...
but it was way way way betta than normal saas bahu saga.
i luvd it when rohan said hamein matchmaking site kholni chahiye n tapped isha's shoulder. that was so natural...most of us do that ;)
yes it was lil off the beat BUT STILL LIKED IT.
p.s. they even showed that gunjan girl wearing parallel which was so famous in 97/98 era ...yey for creative team

Meera, yep, Ruchika is originally from Delhi, if I recall correctly.

I found that really realistic and girly actually :P I don't think she was so strung over Tanmay, it was just being dumped in time for prom and then having made all those preparations that caused the water works 😆 Just the fact that she mentioned the dress shows that she wasn't too into Tanmay. As for her rebuking Rohan when he asked about the suit, it was again such woman thing to do 😆 We'll say the most ridiculous things ourselves but when someone else says them, they get a good talking down for it 😆

As for getting the '97 look right, totally agree. My first thought was how shabby the college looked 😆 Then I remembered what time it was supposed to be and it made sense :P The only person I found a little off is Isha, who was wearing long strings of beads around her neck in quite a few scenes...this trend wasn't prevalent then, and it is not at all a casual college look even now.

not boring but i have a question.why did they randomly show a flashback episode??it was just all of a sudden.no connection to the rest of the epis.

i liked rohan mehra though.he was as cute and hot as ever.i liked the outfits he wore in college.very different from the boring suits he wears now. :P
