I don't want to totally knock off the serial 😆. At least, they tried to attempt. In Indian tele, any attempt should be seen with optimism.

I do agree we should see this show with optimism. It is different for sure as it does not beat the dead and the already stuffed rat with the already beaten stick again and again and again quite like the other soaps and shampoos do😉. That is why though I find a lot of faults in it I still stay loyal to it. 😃

My final review after watching the entire series.
Yes, the disappoints expressed in earlier post remained same. Add to it, our prolonged wait to see the character growth in Ananya. Kabir transformed into a gentleman who is too good to be true. Ananya's characterisation also suffered because of this. Shreya became a typical vamp. In so many ways, the show seemed different, with realistic portrayal of profession. Wish they had continued to keep the lead characters real, who can fight sometimes and makeup later.
But with all disappointments, this show was unique. First, makers did not go behind success (TRP), but believed in experimenting. (I remember Rancho's words from 3 Idiots. Perfection ke peeche baagho, Kaamyabi ke peeche nahi). Kudos to the entire team for trying something different in this TRP driven world. Also it is one of the few shows with limited episodes. Now many more coming up in this line, Reporters has been a trend setter.

For me, the best moment of the Reporters going to be the final "Jaane Se Pehle". It made us nostalgic. It was philosophical. It was the gist of Reporters and the gist of life. Well done and thanks to the team of "Reporters".
Lastly all the writers of the forum who became part of our daily life along with the characters in the serial. Can't say thanks, as I consider them friends. Can't say "good bye", as I want to meet them again.

We were taught in our childhood, not to say "I am leaving", instead to say "Will return soon". Hope we will be bumping to each other in some other forum, sometime later. So, no "Alvida", only "Phil Milenge".

A beautiful summation, Mahi.. Couldn't agree more. Yes, the final JSP was the defining moment of the show..

Until we meet again, Take care and All the best!!
