PART 29:
After everyone leaves, leaving behind Kabeer and Ananya, Kabeer turns to Ananya who is standing, resting her left shoulder by the tree, looking at Kabeer. Waiting for him to come to her. Kabeer stands at his place for sometime, looking at her intently. Ananya lowers her eyes, feeling too shy all of a sudden. Kabeer smiles, knowing it too well, what she is feeling and goes to her.
As he reaches her, Ananya's heart almost forgets to beat. She is all ready for her punishment, but instead of giving her punishment Kabeer says "Chalein", smile playing on his lips because he knows it too well, what she is expecting. But he won't give it to her as easily as she thinks. She keeps staring at him, surprised, thinking why is he doing this to her? Not able to bear it anymore Ananya ends up asking "kya hai meri punishment?" Smiling, Kabeer looks into her eyes and says "Hum ek dusre se 1 hafte tak baat nahi karenge Miss Kashyap!"
Ananya keeps staring at him, creasing her brows, shocked. After spending so much of time together how could he say that? Didn't I affect him, like his presence affected me? Was I a fool to think, God knows what all possibilities between us? But Ananya gets answer to none of her unasked questions. The only thing she gets is his stretched out hand, asking her to hold it so that they can reach KKN! She wants to refuse going with him, he knows it too - what Ananya wants and warns her, just by giving her a warning look. Having no other option she places her hand on his hand, then soon moves her hand to hold him by his arm, showing possessiveness. They walk towards the taxi stand, none of them making any effort to reach the taxi stand, as they are enjoying their slow walk. No one saying anything, just trying to listen one another's heartbeat. They know what it is between them but none of them want to word it.
Taking a taxi, they reach KKN. Throughout the journey, she had been holding him, resting her head on his shoulder. Although the conversation they had, brought his anger once again to the surface but he chose to remain quiet for now.
As the taxi came to a halt in front of KKN, Kabeer and Ananya sighed, thinking that their time of being together, all alone, has come to an end. They both stared at each other. None of them trying to make any effort to get out. At last Kabeer broke the ice "chalein?" Although Ananya didn't want to go but she nodded. Giving the fare to the driver, they reach the entry spot of KKN. Before entering Kabeer whispers into her ear, "YOUR. PUNISHMENT.STARTS.NOW". They stare into each others eyes intently. Then remembering that they are going to enter their office zone Ananya lose the hold. Kabeer looks into her eyes, seeing the sorrow and pain in her eyes he shooks his head indicating, he is going no where.
As they enter KKN, the relief, the smile, the applauds welcome them! Seeing her mother and brother and all her friends, Ananya's eyes well up. She goes to her mother and embraces her into tight hug, followed by another tight hug to her brother Armaan. Then she hugs Trisha, Ronnie and Richa. She feels that the hold of Richa is tighter than others. Ananya fails to understand what could be the possible reason that made her so emotional. As they end up hugging each other Richa says "Ananya..." her voice chokes out of bearing too much emotions. But she realizes that it is not the correct time to break the news in front of her. So ends up saying "I missed you". "Haan yaar such mein ye bohot tensed thi" says Ronnie. Beating Ronnie on his arm, Trisha says "Tera kya matlab hai hum nahi kar rahe the isse miss?" They all laugh. "Ananya tu nahi janti maine tujhe kitna miss kia" says Trisha. "Aww..." saying this Ananya hugs her.
On the other hand Khalid congratulates Kabeer for his success. After Malvika congratulates them, Manav shakes hand with Kabeer. "Kabeer Sahab khushi hui apko dekh kar" "Such Manav Bhai?" asks Kabeer, showing him that he is surprised to get these words from Manav. "Of course Kabeer Sahab. Bhaley hi hum jitna bhi lad lein par of course main kabhi kuch iss tarah se bura nahi chahunga apke liye" says Manav, his eyes reflecting that he ain't lying. Then Trisha goes to Kabeer and says "Sir apko bhi humne bohot miss kia" "Acha. Thank you Miss Trisha mujhey 'miss' karne ke liye" smiles Kabeer. Seeing him smiling, everyone smiles. Throughout all these greetings and stuffs Kabeer keeps on giving side glances to Ananya, hoping that she'll look at him too, but she doesn't.
"Okay guys back to your work. Kabeer and Ananya mere cabin mein aao" announces Khalid and leaves for his cabin. Kabeer who is standing away from Ananya again looks at her thinking now she'll look back, but she doesn't. 'Mujhe pata hai Sir aap mujhe hi dekh rahe hain tabse. Aur aap ye bhi chahte hain ki main apko dekhun. Par main aisa nahi karungi. Agar mujhe saza milegi to aapko bhi milegi' thinking this Ananya moves forth towards Khalid's cabin.
In his cabin Khalid again congratulates them. And also tells them how happy he is to see them again. He congratulates again to Ananya this time for her success on her first assignment. Soon they leave the cabin. As they move forth outside the cabin, Kabeer calls her "Miss Kashyap" "Bohot thak gayi hun Sir. Bye!" saying this she leaves for her home with her family.
