Part 4:

"Khalid you need to meet Mr.Ghosh it's important. I mean if he agrees to send few capable

reporters to KKN then I am sure we can reach heights. Not that I don't have faith on our employees but the thing is when Mr.Ghosh has assured us that it's for our benefit then we must take it seriously", says Malvika, resting her hands on the table, bending a little, in all serious tone to make her point clear.

Rising from his chair Khalid reaches behind Malvika, resting his hands on her shoulders,

"Malvika don't get hyper, just sit". When Malvika doesn't move an inch, Khalid insists her again "Sit! Sit!".

Sitting on the chair laid behind her, she crosses her arms. "Look Malvika there is nothing to get hyper about. And think about this, how can you be so sure that the employees we'll be sent will prove to be an asset for KKN?""That's true Khalid but that risk will persist even if 'we' appoint someone". "That's my point darling. Don't you think trusting our own judgement better than trusting else one's judgment?"

The pushing of the glass door of Khalid's cabin drags their attention. "What is it Khalid?"

the feeling of a tensed environment persisting in the cabin forbids Kabeer, from greeting them a 'Good Morning'.

"Oh Kabeer, thank god you are here! I was just discussing about appointing few new employees"

"Yeah, that's a good idea so what's the problem?""Malvika is saying that Mr.Ghosh is ready to send few employees. But you know what I don't want any favor".

Part 5:

"Excuse me Sir", the peon says after knocking the glass door and pushing it to open it. "Yes"answers Kabeer turning back to address him. "There is someone named Ananya Kashyap waiting for her interview to be held".Kabeer turns back to look at Malvika and Khalid.

Noticing that they are too stressed out to conduct any interview at the moment, Kabeer decides to

conduct the interview himself. "Send her into my cabin" orders Kabir to the peon."Yes sir", giving them a bow out of courtesy the peon leaves. Still looking at the

glass door Khalid says "Go Kabeer conduct this girl's interview. I don't know why am I feeling, she can prove to be beneficial for us".

Ananya has already entered Kabeer's cabin. Finding that there is no one in there, she decides to

wait outside for Kabeer. As she turns back to return to the waiting zone, something holds her eyes through her peripheral vision - a photo frame, kept on Kabir's desk, containing Kabeer's picture on the left side and right side of the frame is empty. Going towards the desk, she picks up the frame and says "Mujhey pata hai ki apko photos click karwana pasand nahi hai, but jab apni ek pic laga hi di hai to dusra frame kyu khali chodha hai? Wahan bhi ek photo laga dete!"

"Thank you for the advice Miss..." Kabir's voice makes Ananya's heart to skip a beat.

Keeping back the photo frame in a hurry, making too much noise of the colliding of the photo frame and table in the process, she turns back and says "Ananya Kashyap". As she ends up giving Kabeer her introduction and staring him for a much longer period than is required, she realizes that she is holding her breath since the moment she has heard his voice.

Getting into his cabin Kabeer moves swiftly towards his chair and takes his seat. He makes sure that he doesn't make another eye contact with Ananya. "Please sit down Miss Kashyap" he addresses her politely. Accepting the fact with too much happiness that the one she admires the most is talking to her, a slight smile plays on her lips. "Thank you" she says with far too much humbleness than was required, as she makes herself comfortable on the chair.

"So Miss Kashyap 'reporting'? Why reporting?" 'How can I tell you that it's you who inspired me to become a reporter? How could I be bold enough to accept the fact that I remember all those news where there was a hint of anger on your face because your anger affected me! Your love for your job, I want to know how does it feel when 'reporting' and 'the love for telecasting the truth in front of the whole world 'becomes someone's passion! Oh God Ananya, get a grip you are expected to answer; not to stare at him' acknowledging the fact that she is staring, she drifts her attention to the white curtains hanging in front of the windows, behind his seat. "Truth! I want the people to know the truth. I want to come in close contact with all those people who are accused of committing a crime". "Oh so you mean to say you are in love with the criminals?"'Criminals? When did I say that? So apart from reading news you can crack jokes too? That's going to be a new add in the list made by me of your character sketch' thinks Ananya.

"Miss Kashyap you cannot become a reporter!" his sudden announcement, like some *NEWS FLASH* succeeds in bringing her out of the cage of her thoughts. Getting alert she asks "How can you just give away your judgement like that? You haven't even asked me as much as five questions and you are declaring that I don't fit for this job? This is so rude, you cannot do that!" She realizes that's the lengthiest line she has used since the moment she has seen him.

Part 6:

Taking a deep breathe he relaxes on his seat, his hands folded into a 'namastey' and touching the middle of his lips and his elbows rested on either side of the chair, he stares at her calmly, his hands make it difficult for her to decide whether he is finding her amusing or is he angry with her! Feeling something building between them which is difficult for her to articulate, she shifts on her seat. Getting irritated with the persisting silence, Ananya breaks the ice "Am I permitted to work here or not?" speaking of this line without hesitation, adds in her boldness! She sits straight to make her point clear that she is no one to mess up with so easily. Kabeer having a great sense of judgment agrees silently with her un-uttered words but also makes a mental-note that 'Ananya gets affected by Kabir's reactions'!

"Alright Miss Kashyap I have changed my mind, you are not permitted to work here in KKN!" "Not permitted? Changed mind? That means you were considering the option of giving me a chance? What made you to change your mind?" asks Ananya, surprised. "Of course I wanted you..." "Wanted? That means you don't want me now?" she doesn't let him complete his line. "Will you ever let me complete my line Miss Kashyap?" scolds Kabeer, utterly annoyed. Accepting the fact that she has crossed limits she apologizes. "You can join from tomorrow", Kabeer's announcement makes her feel even more vulnerable.

"But you haven't conducted any interview yet" she whispers, not daring to increase her voice, her eyes transfixed on her hands underneath the table. Her terrified look makes Kabeer to smile. But keeping check on his emotion he says "the one who can argue so confidently to the editor-in- chief of her would be company, I think she has the potential to argue with anyone, this is what we expect from our reporters" saying this he keeps staring at her, who is still unable to meet his eyes.

"Did you come here with the plan of sitting at my cabin for the whole day?" his question

takes her by surprise.'This is the first and the last time I am giving him an opportunity of

overpowering me' promising this to herself secretly, she stands up to let herself out of the cabin.
