Abhira: Life main problems ho chalega lekin Armaan na ho..
Conclusion: The debate started off with the famous quote, "Honesty is the best policy". But certain examples from our real, daily practical life stated that people cannot be honest all the time! At certain points, people have to lie but its the intention that matters. No ones knows if people are honest, or if they have ever cheated in life. Certain examples were stated from both the parties. But being honest is stated to be better than being dishonest and getting into a scandal which will defame you for life. But by being dishonest one can live a luxurious life! And living with close, trustworthy people is one thing everyone would love to do! This debate focuses on both sides and we conclude, honesty is what is morally coreect whereas practically, dishonest pays off. But being dishonest can make people lose faith in the word humanity

Are these you final conclusions? If they are, its fine. You can't post any more. If they aren't you can sue these points in your Final Conclusions as these replies will not be counted in the debate.
The debate started off with "Honesty is the best policy" and till the end HONESTY came off as their predominant topic of debate but what about being poor? When both my Con friends stressed on being honest leaving behind the core point "poverty" then how can the general populace agree with "Being Honest and Poor is better than being Dishonest and Rich? One would rather be dishonest and keep his family safe and sound than be poor and have nightmares of sufferings of his near and dear ones. If honesty is a big deal then why do people lie on their resume to get better jobs; why marketers cheat their consumers all the time with false advertising; why CEOs exaggerate their company's earnings?? It's simple 'cause it isn't a big deal. In our world there are lies everywhere and nobody thinks twice it. This proves that in our world Honesty isn't a big deal. Compare the life of an honest construction worker to that of a CEO performing malpractice, fraud and insider trading... the CEO earns more money in a day than the worker can earn in his entire lifetime.
It certainly proves that honesty is overrated notion goodie good for books but practically Dishonesty is the best policy. Maybe that's why in a pole conducted by fanpop 565% people chose dishonesty and rich over poor and honest!
