Hey guys, I was wondering what's the age of Kabir and Ananya in the show? Any idea?

i think there is 10 years difference bet ananya & kabir's age because ananya has been following kabir since last 8 years...

I think 10 or 11...

If Ananya has been following him for 8 years... He must have some work ex, you know... so give 2 or 3 years there...

I guess Ananya is 24 or 25...

Kabir 35 or older...

Ananya is 23 and Kabir iis 38. paper mein article aaya tha jis me yah hi likho tha...

WHATTT😲😲 !!! almost 15yrs age difference😲 ?! yaar this is so not done...i'm never going to ship KaYa then ! this is going to be another KTLK then where Dr.Ashutosh and Nidhi had 18yrs age difference😲 !

I think the diff is about 13-14 yrs.

I think Ananya is 21-23 years old as in one of the episodes she said she was 13 or 15 when her father disappeared and its been eight years since then and Kabir could be 28-38. I think he is 28 as he was a budding reporter who didn't have any influence eight years ago and made himself in these 8 years.

waise i was going to make a topic on the same topic. as per me, Ananya is 26 and Kabir is 34. my theory is -

a lot of speculations going on in the forum assumed that Sudhir Kashyap case and Tarini might be related. remember these are all speculations and not confirmed facts from the show. the speculations assumed that Kabir might have sent Tarini, his junior, on a sting to unravel the truth which failed and Tarini got r*ped and pregnant. while this may explain Anurag's age, i dont agree with it. this theory assumes that Kabir was already a senior reporter 8yrs back. if SK's case happened 8yrs ago, then why he failed to do something substantial, even failed to contact the Kashyap family despite being a senior reporter?

so as per me, Kabir Sharma was a mere junior reporter 8yrs back, same as Ananya now. remember Ananya tells him that his article about her father was published in Janta Times, which was Kabir's first job. how can someone be a senior reporter in his first job itself? Kabir had drinking issues, which made him slap his JT editor (my assumption) which made him lose his job within 3days of joining. then he joined Delhi Kranti as a junior reporter and rose to become a senior reporter before taking up his post as EIC in KKN. it's in Delhi Kranti he met Tarini after he became a senior reporter. by this time he's already married to Shreya, who's unhappy with his professional failures and complex nature. Tarini was already a single mother, with a son from her boyfriend who had dumped her. Kabir and Tarini soon became good friends, and Kabir tried to sort out issues between Tarini and her bf. her bf was desperately trying to escape the embarrassment of owning up his responsibility towards Tarini and his son, and framed Tarini and Kabir of having an affair and blew it out of proportion. the news of the alleged affair reached Shreya, who in furious rage, refused to believe any explanation Kabir had to offer and threw a divorce on his face and walked out on him. this divorce happened 4-5yrs ago maximum.

Well for me, age difference is the last thing I care about in case of an on-screen couple. Rather I feel the age gap just spices up things and adds to the hotness quotientBut if we are to go by calculations, Ananya has to be around 23-24 yrs. 2 yrs back, Mahi Malhotra was the first person she had interviewed as a reporter. Hence, she must have entered her job at KKN, then.. Which means after her graduation in journalism. This means, she must have been 21/22 yrs then.. So now she is, 23/24 yrs.

8 yrs back, Kabir had been a budding reporter like Ananya, even before he joined Delhi Kranti. So he too, might have been 24/25 then.. So now, he's within 32-34 yrs.

Hence, Kabir-Ananya might have an age gap of around 9/10 yrs.

likewise...i do feel that the age gap spices up things and i like love stories like that...that's why i asked...thank you everyone for providing an analysis.
